I use these bio-hazard bags for in my EMS patient care bags. We use them to put patient blood draw tubes inside, injured parts, and/or other specimens to be delivered to the hospital with the patient. These bags are thick and quality made. The bio-hazard symbol and writing are large and clearly printed on the bag. The bags have an outside pocket for paperwork to be placed in to protect it and seperate it from the specimen. The bags close securly with there zipper.Overall, I highly recommend these bio-hazard bags to anyone in the market. The price for 100 of them is lower than most other brands and is very good for the quality that you are getting.

I go out saltwater fishing with the guys and bring back plenty of fish. These zip lock bags are perfect for freezing fish. They hold enough fish for two servings and sturdy enough to hold water necessary to prevent freezer burn. They're also good to have for other fridge items like cheese, vegetables, or chicken.

Thicker than I expected

Like a lot of others, I got these for personal use. These bags are identical to the bags that the lab sends to our office to submit samples. I can't tell the difference between those bags and these when placed side by side. If you have to buy these bags for your business, I think they will work quite well. These do have the separate opening for paperwork, which not all lab sample bags we've received have had. If you're looking for a heavy duty sample bags, then these would probably not be the thickness you want. But for basic lab samples or personal use, they are fine. It's always fun to compare what I use in my work place to what is available on-line.

These fun little bags can of course be used the conventional way - or - if you're anything like me, you might find better uses for them...I don't know about any of you fellow Amazon shoppers, but I personally enjoy trolling my kids once in awhile. Maybe even more than once in awhile. Ok... every day (almost). I always tell them that along with their chores, dealing with my pranks and shenanigans is their contribution to the household until they are old enough to find jobs. :)These particular little bags make an EXCELLENT alternative for sandwich bags, snack bags, goodie bags, lunch bags, gift/trinket bags etc, etc, etc.I'm sure many of you are far more creative than I am, and I sincerely wish there was a way to hear everyone else's ideas and feedback! But until that becomes an option, I'll continue to enjoy packing "biohazardous" P&J sandwiches for my kids, contentedly knowing they're rolling their eyes at me (hiding a smile) at some point during thier school day.

These seem to be targeted for laboratory use, which is not how I plan to use them. With that being said, these are nifty "biohazard specimen" bags. They're lightweight (think standard "sandwich bags" thickness, albeit probably slightly thicker) but decently durable. The "zipping" closure mechanism works as you'd expect it to.Overall, if I worked in a lab - I'd probably not be super happy with these because I'd expect them to be thicker. No one wants biohazard leaking on them. Yuck! However, since I'm mainly using these store random things and to get funny looks - these are great.
