The 1000 Magic: The Gathering Card Lot is a decent bulk purchase for players looking to expand their collection quickly. It includes rares and foils, which is a nice touch, but as expected with bulk lots, the selection can be hit or miss. The card variety is decent, though there are some duplicates. If you're looking for playable commons and uncommons or just want to bulk up your collection, this is a solid option. However, if you're after high-value rares or competitive staples, you may want to look elsewhere. Overall, a fun and affordable way to add cards to your MTG collection. This was Nice as a collection starter and I've enjoyed having it. I've been able to build various 60 card Decks as well as a starter for a Commander Deck from this lot and I've only expanded since ordering!

almost no lands at all. I had maybe 4 basic lands in the entire thing. Lots of duplicates the only plus was there weren't as many duplicates as other comments and there was a decent variety mainly from 4 sets in particular but still. Most cards are only worth about 2 cents each. They did provide some fooled cards and Japanese cards but again not high value. This is good to add bulk to your collections but if you play commander this won't help much with the no lands. Will not be buying again sadly.

This will give you a lot of cards. But you’ll likely get an unnecessary amount of dupes for many cards. Zero lands. And 3 low value rare cards.If you really want a quick little boost for your collection, consider other sellers.

To start if you are wanting to get a box of 1000 different cards to get back into magic or build a deck to play at Friday night magic this is not for you. This is random bulk box. Tons of duplicate cards 4+ of each or just random chaff. That’s what you are buying. None of these cards are worth anything. Tons of vanilla creatures and cards that will never see play. However it is loads of fun to go through the box. Old sets, new sets, random funky cards you would never see outside of one of these random bulk boxes. Plus a lot of the cards are commons that have good upside and bad downside so it’s perfect for sharpie cube which I highly recommend. It’s a blast!

I bought this, hoping to plug a few holes in my card collection, confident that with 1,048 cards total I should see a fair number of uncommon & rare cards along with decent common cards.Boy, did my hopes get dashed. To pieces.10 foil cards, 8 of which are common and not very good, and 2 uncommon; while they're okay cards, nothing special. 5 rare cards, only 1 of which is a decent card, and 40 uncommon cards. That last bit sounds promising, right? They're almost all dupes, 10 are artifact, equipment, & artifact creatures, making up 38 of them. The other 2 uncommon cards are an enchantment, the other a sorcery/direct damage. Oh, and one card was a 'Summon Legend.' About 20 years old, and according to the deck symbol a common card. No basic lands, either, 13 cards were non-basic lands, all common,I very much looked forward to this delivery, my mind made up that I'd quickly buy this again. Now, I'm very, very disappointed and actually a little depressed at the anticlimax of the delivery, I don't recommend this unless you are a TRULY NEW PLAYER with little or no cards and are attempting to build up a collection; if you're an old pro and/or a seasoned collector, I advise you to pass this by, save your money, and either buy the card you want directly from an online shop like TCG or buy the sets for sale in retail stores.Thanks for nothing.

I bought these cards without reading the reviews. I went through the reviews and still wasn't worried. I went into buying this with low expectations. These are penny cards. These are from a game store in Florida. They probably opened thousands of packs and sold the valuable cards to make a profit. Can't blame them. If you bought 15 booster packs to get around 1000 cards, it's going to cost around $200. These cards are only good for building several different playing decks. You're not going to get high value cards. There's most likely minimum wage employees putting these boxes together. I had extra cards in my box. I received some foil cards, some rarest and uncommonly. There was nice variants in there. At 1000 cards, the number of duplicate cards didn't surprise me. I used to play 30 years ago and buying booster packs, you would get a ton of duplicates. Wish they had these widely available when I first played. It's a big money saver if you want to play the game. You'll get at max 6 duplicates of a card. Average around 4 duplicates but you also get singles. It had a nice balance of different sets. I had special lands, and plenty of artifacts.So for first time deck building, this is so worth it.Looking for valuables, you're going to be disappointed.
