These are great - they go on easily and most importantly, stick on and then are easily removed. I use glass jars and deli containers for food storage and these are perfect. They work in the freezer as well. I prepare a lot of meals in advance for family members. So easy for them to find and select what they want. I also keep my pantry stocked with staples. Works well to make usable portions with jars or FoodSaver bags. Recommend.

Lots previous labels were either hard to write upon even with permanent marker --OR--would not stick --OR-- instantly biodegrade on contact with any moisture --OR-- some combination of the above. Also peels off containers when its time for removal. Peels off with fingernail. Does not curls up and separate when cold or simply never adhere.

These labels are the perfect size for labeling containers and bags for the freezer. They don't smear, stick when applied but are easy to peel off of reusable containers. They are so much better than masking tape!

You can write on it with a sharpie or ball-point pen. Once the ink dries it doesn't smudge. They stick to glass and plastic like magic then peel off with no residue left behind. They seem impervious to water. I was washing a class container with one of these labels attached and the label was perfectly fine with that. Then they peel off when you want them too with incredible ease.I'm not easily impressed by something so basic but I have to say ... these are magic labels.Spoil yourself and get a roll!

81% 5 stars at the time of this writing and that is a CLEAR signal how good these labels are and I concur. Owned for almost two (2) months.Bought a single roll of 1 x 2"1. Put the roll into a former yogurt container with lid (keep clean) - and to ensure it doesn't fall on the ground and unwind all over the place.2. Bought a double sided Sharpie to help with writing on Ziploc bags and these labels. Fatter markers are no good.3. Small date one corner - "Aug/24" then the item name.PROS:- MASSIVE - they are *EASY* to remove and more importantly (TWF [the wife factor]) they *DO NOT* leave any sticky residue. Cue Ralphie. (Him kissing back is me loving these!)- HUGE - write with the Sharpie - no smearing at all- HUGE - put these on Ziploc/Rubbermaid/Baby Moov [and similar small containers] - they stick and stay on. I have seen a couple rising at a corner where I will push down but so far no concerns with 'falling off'. Sometimes it is a "side" or "lid" choice and that may impact the area to adhere to. Washing your hands first and ensuring the containers are free of any "accidental" grease or liquids - is mandatory. Picking up and resticking may be a concern but the sticky part is pretty good - not weak (which is why I am amazed that there is no residue). [NOTE - that with a ziploc bag it moves around a freezer - but with these containers - I put them into my stand up freezer and fridge freezer - they move because I physically move them not because I pulled container X and now these five others fall down like bags]- NICE TOUCH - perforated. I use both the complete label but also for the smaller ones (like buying a slew of KFC gravy and we put into the smaller containers) - I cut the labels in half. I noticed that you cannot "rip" the labels (to cut in half) - a minor downside. But the perforated sheets - great to rip off and toss.CONS:- Fact of life - you cannot adhere to a frozen or cold container. The labels will not stick. If you forget you may be out of luck - but for me it is now a habit to pull out the labels immediately.Per the con - I cannot go through our freezer and label what wasn't before but at least now the number of labeled are starting to be more than the older to purge them as they are not used. Also adding the date now helps - there are times where we don't want to throw out some homemade meat juices - but then we look x months later - a thick layer of fat - what is this again? Knowing what it is will help in determining which dish to use it for --- or we end up tossing it.Ziploc bags are always labeled but none of these containers were - but now they are too and I am so pleased with this. I hope the formula for these labels does not change.Highly recommended.

I have used these labels: (1) to label foods wrapped in foil (even attached to freezer cold foil); (2) as a way to secure the end of opened bags of frozen foods (e.g. bags of, frozen vegetables) which are both cold and have a some moisture from condensation; and (3) on the lids of plastic containers (e.g., Tupperware, Rubbermaid) going into the refrigerator. I have been pleasantly surprised to find they actually do stick to aluminum foil and to cold pkgs. of frozen food. As for placing on the lids of plastic containers, my concern was that they would be difficult to remove a week or so later, leaving part of the label and sticky residue that would take additional steps to remove. But I’ve found that these labels peel off easily and completely, leaving nothing behind. Even my husband has noticed the difference between these labels and the freezer labels we’d used for years (from a well-known retail store devoted solely to home storage and organization products). My only disappointment is that these labels don’t come in the typical lightweight cardboard box that can be used to store AND dispense the labels. I have not found a good way to store the roll of labels without the loose end gradually unrolling. A rubber band might work, but having to take the rubber band off and put back on each time a label is needed, taking care not to bend or partially remove the outer labels with the rubber band, just adds a couple extra steps when I’m busy in the kitchen. I know, from the brands of freezer labels I’ve used in the past (which came with a dispenser box or, better yet, a lightweight plastic dispenser), that having a storage container/dispenser keeps the labels neatly contained AND makes them easy to dispense. In spite of these labels not coming with a way to store and dispense, I DO still recommend them for the reasons I stated at the beginning of this review.
