The paper towel method germinated 84 out of 100 seeds within 24 hours. They are becoming strong, healthy plants. I'm quite pleased!

I divide the packet into 4 amounts. Tried to germinate each one and not one single seed germinated/ Very disappointed not even 1 so this was a waste of time and money!

It’s 05/18/24, and I planted the seeds in my hydroponic garden around 02/14/24. Likely due to my inexperience with hydroponic gardens and planting dahlias, the germination rate was modest. If I did it again, I would only plant one or two seeds in each pod, rather than 5-6 or more. I would also plant some in dirt with a grow light. (There are a number of YT videos you can watch to help with planting dahlias from seed. It is more popular to plant them from tubers which are like bulbs.)The plants I have are flourishing, and then are a lot more flowers ready to bloom.(Tip: I saw in one YT video that after you cut the dahlia or it dies and dries up, there are seeds Withings the flower if you crunch it up in your hand.)

Was so excited to plant the entire package of seeds in my usual seed starting mix I have used with great success. Only on cell germinated. The other 71 cells have not done a thing. I have started thousands of different seeds flowers, vegetables, even shrubs with great success, so I’m not a novice. These are not worth the space on your grow racks, the expensive organic soil, and the disappointing result.

As you can see this is nowhere near 100 seed. I’m starting them in water as the instructions said. I’ll update this review once/ it I get any results.

I loved how easy these were to grow. The size was massive and easily the size of a large fist. 👊. They had a shape and color I had never seen in a dahlia before. Plus all of my neighbors were amazed. I didn’t get a ton of variety but it was worth what I did get and they are physically durable and long lasting ♥️🌸

I wasn't expecting much from these seeds once they arrived in their plain plastic bag. But after I got them started indoors I would guess that about 80% of the seeds I planted started to grow.I recently moved them to a raised planter outdoors so at this point if they don't bloom it's probably user error (i.e. my fault).I'll update this review later when I see what the flowers look like but so far everything seems to be good.BOTTOM LINE: Not wrapped up too fancy but they seem to be okay.**UPDATE**Mid-August and they have finally started blooming! I will post a few pictures when (if?!) others begin to flower but so far it's just the yellow ones.Took quite awhile for them to bloom -- I did get a pretty late start on the season and when I transferred them from a raised planter to a garden bed it took a while for them to get over the shock.Very happy with these. I expect that more will blossom soon.**LAST UPDATE** It looks like just about all the plants that originally sprouted have reached maturity and started to flower. It's only been the yellow and purple (with yellow centers) flowers but I like them a lot. There are two plants with little bulbs that haven't quite flowered yet but I don't really expect any more variety in terms of color. I'm happy with what I got & still believe it was a bargain for the price.
