I would call these pouches “wafer thin”. So thin, that they wouldn’t protect anything. I bought cheap, and I got cheap. The other ones I bought were only slightly more expensive, but so much better. Package was also delivered badly damaged. Will be returning.

These are you must have if you’re getting ready to move in particular if you were packing smaller glass items. I had a two bedroom two bath home with a full kitchen and used over 100 of these, which was extremely helpful in my long distance move. I would highly recommend them whether you’re moving near or far for the protection of anything glass

These guys came all smashed into one plastic wrap. They feel soft but very thin. Thinnnnnn.I think rather than glassware, these would be better for protecting the edges of frames or protecting from scratches (rather than keeping them not-smashed). So that’s probably what I’ll use them for.They do form a nice little pocket that doesn’t disintegrate when I pull on the sides, so I should also be able to sort out my silverware with these guys. 5/5 on the sturdiness and softness, but loses 2 stars for being so thin.

I got these thinking we could use them for kitchen items when we moved recently. However, I miscalculated the size, and they were too small for what I'd planned to use them for.However, my husband sells collectible action figures, and these fit them perfectly! They're cushy enough to protect the item, without being heavy like paper, and making the shipping of an item more expensive. He loves them, and will reorder them when he runs out!

100 foam poaches for mailing for less than $16, win/win for me! These are a nice size and don't rip when I'm putting items in them to mail. I would buy these again when I need more.

While packing up for a move, these came in handy for small 4x6 and 5x7 framed photos. They are a little too tight for glasses and I question the thickness of the material if you are trusting delicate plates in them. That said, if you are bundling a stack of small dinner plates and you plan to put each plate in a sleeve, then stack them and throw some additional wrapping paper around that bundle, I think they would be fine. I suppose you could also place some jewelery in the bag and then wrap it up, and fill up a box that way. That would be another good use of these bags.
