The massive pack of pens was a bonus I wasn't expecting. The pads are not the thick "card stock" type but they're thicker than the kid with carbon duplicates. The pads fit perfectly into my server book. The pens write well, and smooth too.

The Good: 50 gel pens and a total of 500 order sheets. Sheets can record 15 items on the front and 17 on the back. Perforated tab on bottom easy to remove (guest receipt). Pens are of good size and comfortable to utilize. NOTE: Pen tips are sealed with red latex which will need to be removed before using.The Bad: Removing the latex tips on the pens takes a little effort and pulling off with fingertips works but may stain your fingers. Pens are also 'loose' and will need to be hand tightened.Overall: Years ago I came up with an idea for a magic trick. It was a juxtaposition of an old idea with an added mnemonic key all paired to Diner menus. The premise of this routine is 5 menus are presented, with each containing 16 items, and some menus have the same item repeated while others may only hve it once. The participant chooses 4 items (one at a time) from the menus and let me know if the item they chose is in or not in each menu before proceeding to the next. I do not know if they are ordering drinks, entrees, or sides. In the end I have jotted down everything on the menu pads and read back their order with follow up info (how do you want that burger cooked?). Other than answering yes or no to each menu no other info is provided. Instantly repeatable and with these pads I can do 4 'customers' at a time. Recommend.
