Well... they do glow a nice color blue, but don't expect a blazing light that stands out unless you're a truly dark environment. I use mine in our driveway, which is loose white rocks about the size of each of these glow stones. Firstly, the are smooth and look like eggs left by birds compared to real actual white stone. Yes, they are asymmetrical but it's clear they are artificial. Secondly, they are fabricated in about 4 or 5 of the same shapes including one facetted gemstone cut which looks like it belongs in the center of a king's crown. This is good for special uses I suppose. Thirdly, I am disappointed with the lack of brilliance. I was hoping they would stand out in the night but the truth is that any ambient light washes their glowing effect out. A porch light nearby, a street light nearby, even a full moon causes them to be barely noticeable. The ideal situation is to use them in a location where they can charge in the sun all day and there is no ambient light at nearby at night. I don't hate the product, but it falls short of earning my love for the product.

Tried multi days of 10+ hours of California sun, and initial “charging” with lamp and flashlights. No glow. But do look pretty in the flower pots

I love these rocks. They are as advertised. Mine glow all night. I did not expect that. I love the color. Mine are the aqua/blue ones. I was going to put them in our pond, in the front yard. But it turns out, the street light in front of our house drowns out the glowing at night. I will find something else to do with these amazing rocks. More than likely in our back yard, where it’s darker and they can be seen much better.

I bought for the blue color so I love them but fyi they sit in sun all day and do not glow at all.

I live in sunny AZ and bought these rocks to go in a pot in my front yard. We live in a dark sky at night community with no street lights so I thought they would glow and look beautiful. Boy, was I disappointed because they do not glow at all! Do not buy them if your intention is for them to glow!

We got these to throw in the creek by our house for my daughter’s birthday and it was so fun! They are large in size so they were easy to find and they glowed in the creek when it became dark. They are light in weight but they worked out awesome for the party!
