I bought these because my kids love Chatime but do not like the paper straws. I ordered these because it says they are jumbo, boba and smoothy straws. I received them and my kids laughed, they are REGULAR SIZE straws with pointed tips. There is no way you can use these for boba or smoothies. Sending back for a refund.

I am a teacher and we made Shamrock Shakes for our students. We wanted strong but wide straws and these were perfect for that! The color choices went well with our theme but easily could be used the left overs for another party. Great quality for a great price.

These straws are not Jumbo and boba will not fit through. If you’re looking for regular straws they’re fine, I guess, but I’ve found regular straws for $1.99 for 100, these are wildly overpriced. The seller was not helpful whatsoever. I refuse to pay money to ship them back.

I don’t necessarily buy into the nonsensical notion that every time a plastic straw is discarded, a whale (substitute the aquatic creature of your choice) dies, especially when one starts counting the unnecessary disposable water bottles that people use, but I just hate waste. Don’t even get me started on the most hated innovation of 20th century packaging-the clamshell wrapper. You can slice yourself to the point of needing sutures, curse until you are hoarse, and then discard the amount of plastic that would cost you big bucks if it had been made into anything other than a human shredder machine. I just know that oftentimes the packaging costs the seller more than the cheap plastic thing inside. You know there is something wrong when cottage industries have sprung up, manufacturing special “openers” for these abominations against nature. Ok, rant over-back to our perfect straws.I use the Yeti-type stainless tumblers, add the lids (20 or 30 oz.) that can be found on Amazon, remove the grey rubber plug from the center, and these straws fit like they were made for the lid. Put that little plug in a handy spot, in case you absolutely need to render your tumbler watertight, but with the straws, I could not be happier! I can use them for a week or two, cleaning or rinsing them, then toss, without feeling the Hollywood celebs are wanting to guilt me into planting trees. I do keep my washed coffee straw separate from my water straw, but that is as picky as I get.Truth be told, if I had my druthers, I would make then a little thicker, since the thinner they are, the more chance you have of injuring your palate, with that “sawed off” end, and would add a little more flexibility. I appreciate that they thought of making one end pointy, though. If bent, their relative brittleness renders them unusable, a hole in a straw is an unbelievably frustrating thing; but just don’t mess with that perfect outside diameter! Just enough air space so as not to create a vacuum, and tight enough to almost make the seal air tight. Near perfection!I am amazing myself that I managed to write so much about so little. Really. One would think that the simple act of finding a suitable straw would take, like 30 seconds. Nope. Much reading, calculating, Siri conversions (make up your minds, straw people-metric or not?) and many orders of straws that turn out NOT to be even close to the stated dimensions, have made me a straw-obsessed shopper. If I can save one customer from this straw hell, it will have been worth my time and your tedious read.

Was expecting a wide diameter straw, not the case. The straw still seems good quality, but more of a normal diameter.
