We spent a month in Vietnam during a period that included the entire Tet holiday. In Vietnam and Laos, US currency can be used, but only if the bills are crisp, no wrinkles or folds. The fancy Tet envelopes don’t allow for this, they are too small. I wanted to distribute many $2 bills to children for Tet because this denomination is considered lucky. These envelopes “fit the bill”!
