Your cart is empty.Economical Weights are economical, quality weights. Individual weights are available from 1 mg through 2000 g. Weights are adjusted to tolerances specified by ANSI/ASTM E617 Class 7. Economical Class 7 weights are manufactured from stainless steel and are cylindrical in shape for easy gripping. Weights 1 g to 100 g are of one-piece construction and are adjusted during manufacture by removing material from the bottom of the weight. Weights 200 g through 2 kg have an adjusting cavity on the top that is sealed with a plug. Economical Stainless Steel Weights 1 g and above are perfectly flat on top to stack easily on center. Weights 500 mg and lower are made of stainless steel or aluminum and are flat, one-piece construction with one side turned up to make them easy to handle with forceps. 500 mg and 200 mg weights are made of stainless steel while weights 100 mg and below are made of aluminum. I had been searching for some time for an object which moves down toward the ground when dropped, and then stays on the floor, desk or other surface without floating away. This weight fits the bill perfectly! Not only does it responsively start falling right away when released, but if you put it on top of something else it continues pushing down on that other thing, and it will do so for months at a time, and there aren't even any batteries to have to replace!I use it for everything now. Holding down papers. Holding down mail. Holding down mouse wires. It does it all!

The weight works great - it has a small dent due to Amazon's improper shipping but it is not worth returning for me. I doubt the small dent affects the overall weight.

I got this to check a scale that included its own 50g calibration weight, which of course reads it as 50.00 since that's what they calibrated it with at the factory. This 50g I bought separately reads 50.04Both weights being only .04 gram off from each other is encouraging, I'd like to think this one is spot on and the freebie with the scale is .04 light but even that is impressive for a weight included with a $15 Chinese scale and for the price you'd be unrealistic to expect more precision since nobody is weighing nobel prize work with a .12 cent piece of chromed chinesium.

First class and accurate calibration weight. Purchased for use to hold patterns in position while marking leather. Somewhat pricy for my intended use, but very nicely finished solid stainless steel turning just perfect for all but my largest patterns.

4 stars because this is technically not good enough to resolve below the specs of my scale. HOWEVER, I am using this scale for dividing food and I am in need of a calibration because I forgot to use the protective spacer and the transducer experienced several pounds of weight laid on it for about a month. My scale bounces up and down by 0.3 grams sometimes now, so it isn't like I truly need the most accurate weight for calibration. The 1000 g calibration weight is very very close to perfection and is perfection for weighing out food/ knowing exactly how many ounces of water in a measuring cup, etc. Importantly, it is stainless, so won't flake away mass with age or shed chrome into food.

The 50 gram weights are perfect for a standard keyboard. The weight will depress and hold any key you place it on. Using two weights next to each other is possible. They don't overlap enough to prevent dual usage.For gamers who are looking to hold a key down for extended periods of time to train up a weapon skill or to auto cast after a cool down, these work perfectly.Stainless steel, looks great, a bit pricey for their purpose, but you won't need to purchase another.
