I trusted the charm squares would be 5 inches square, I know sometimes different manufacturers are a little off ,, this was a weird sizeThey are 4/7/8ths on one side by 5/7/8ths on the other side .I had to trim all my blocks to 4//7/8thsI had to do a lot more trimming than I usually do ..I was going to return it , but I had already cut in to the fabric ,The fabric quality is good. plus it’s going to make a really colorful baby boys quilt , So I will work it out . My advice , which is what I usually do ,,measure .

These squares were perfect for a child's quilt. They worked well made a cute quilt. I didn't have to cut the squares.
