I genuinely thought the description was inaccurate. 1.75 wide?! No way. I expected typical oversized ric rac. But this is giant ric rac.Fantastic, thick exaggerated ric rac. This is what you need for your ginger bread man costume, your over the top vintage looks, your wavy trim on skirts or draperies. I’m planning on using it to decorate bows.Yes, I am a textiles geek, and I have loved ric rac for many years, so my perspective may not be typical, but this is good stuff. It’s not synthetic. You can see the threads so it looks like regular ric rac but magnified. It would be a great whimsical upholstery trim. One of my first thoughts was that it would be incredibly cute along the bottom of a cartoonish ghost costume.The white is a true white, not too blue, not cream. There is a typical amount of flex due to the nature of ric rac but it is not stretchy.

Sometimes a little embellishment goes a long way. Rick Rack has always been one of my favorites. Its wavy pattern though simple, can be a nice contrast. I will be using this jumbo rick rack to embellish some summerr garments that I am sewing for my young granddaughters. The jumbo size makes for quick work. It is easy to sew. It is poly and will not shrink like old school rick rack which was constructed of cotton. Looks great along a hem line. Can be combined with other jumbo rick rack for a cute look. Leftover scraps can be sewn into blooms by gathering "points" into clusters and sewn in place. The quality of manufacture is very good. The price is competitive.
