These don't seem to grip any gauge wire at all. The springs and closure on all of the levers also lack any sort of closure, so the levers will just pop open. Even when held closed, wires can be removed easily with a very light pull.Avoid.

Once I figured it out, it works great! Make sure the levers are fully up, I tried forever to get the wires in them when I thought they were up. There was tension and I was afraid I’d break them, so I thought they were up. Nope! After researching, trying to find YouTube videos I was ready to break the dang things, I pulled them up really hard and they stayed, cut the wires according to the length on the bottom (see pic) and easy peasy! Hope this helps someone who bought those dang light fixtures with 6 white wires and 6 black wires. DON’T buy the wire connectors without the levers, I wasted money on the WAGO push in connector ones and they are not good for stranded wires.

Strip and Clip. What could be easier, no twisting wires, no risking will it come undone. Simply strip to prescribed length, open the clip, push wire in to depth and clip. Give a tug to ensure the wire is retained. Used these for wiring 6 recessed lights, quick and easy.

Quality seems to be on par with the other Chinese lever nuts available online. I bought these for little projects where I need to common up a lot of wires on the workbench, and they work just fine for that. I'd really love to find a version with 4-in / 4-out where all connections are commoned together, but have yet to find any.Keep in mind that these particular lever nuts are not tested or listed by an organization like UL, CSA, etc. That means that it is a code violation to use these for anything that falls under the jurisdiction of the NEC; You cannot use these for home wiring on 120v/240v circuits in the USA.

This was a perfect solution for re-wiring my irrigation control valves. It keeps all the wires in good order and makes it very easy to replace a controller when one goes bad. Highly recommended.
