This is a good set of 10 scientific calculators. They are lightweight, compact, and easy to pack and travel. There is a plastic cover that covers the keys and also has some basic instructions. Batteries are included and turning on/off involves the shift key plus top right key or AC red key and helps avoid calculator turning on or off by pressing a key in error. There are multiple scientific functions and the scientific functions are pretty much standard. I think these calculators can handle pretty much all math problems that a student will have. Overall, this is a nice and handy set of 10 calculators for teachers, tutors, or any family. Thanks !

Calculator is surprisingly well thought out and actually fun to use. This sort of calculator got me into high school, but I was a math nerd so got a programmable as soon as I could.Buttons are hard plastic and feel very nice. Includes a hard plastic cover that snaps onto the front for protection as well as the back during use.Calculator is relatively deep, with a scientific and statistical functions, a line editor, and multiple memories. Big "replay" button is actually a 4-way cursor control. As you enter a calculation, it appears on the first line exactly as you type it without anything being evaluated. The calculation is only done when you press '=', and then it's done according to the rules of algebra. On a normal calculator, '2+3x4' will show as 20. But on this, you'll get 12.Construction is just good enough; the case is screwed together and so resistant to drops, but the keyboard is not well secured and may collapse over time. Weirdly, the front of case was designed for AAA batteries though the back only takes coin cells. That shouldn't matter, this tech takes so little power that the coin cells should last a very long time.Real-world value is limited, since everyone has a smart phone with much nicer calculator apps available. These are good for classes teaching the basics, or tests where you want to limit device access.

This is really useful calculator to have, you get 10 which if definitely bang for your buck. It already has the battery so you don't have to purchase some. Its nice and compact and very light. You will definitely need to keep the instructions since it's a little complex. The only issue I had with it was that sometimes the button sticks, and when you punch in something you see a shadow number. But either than that, it's a great resource to help my kids with their math homework.

This is essentially a Casio fx-82ms without the Casio branding on it. Considering these calculators sell individually for $12-$18 apiece, you are getting a great value per-unit on ten of these. Each calculator arrives in its own box, complete with batteries and a concise instruction manual.Unfortunately, there's no dual power source (via solar panel) and the battery style is LR1130. This will make replacing batteries a bit more tedious, though this type of battery is very economical. You'll need tweezers to replace them. Luckily, the batteries come pre-installed, so you won't have to worry about this until they actually need replacing. The overall quality of material is mediocre, but this doesn't affect the product's core functionality.

This is a set of 10 adequate, minimalist, cheap budget scientific calculators. Each has all the advanced functions (other than graphing) that you'd expect, and the screen has 2 lines, with 10+2 digits, to handle large numbers and exponents. The calculator feels lightweight and flimsy, though everything does seem to work. There is a separate sliding cover to protect the buttons when not in use. There is no solar panel, nor a hatch to replace the battery - I imagine you'd need to unscrew the back to get at the internal battery, or maybe you're expected to just throw it away and get a new one. There is a very minimal page of instructions in tiny print. You are expected to understand all the mathematical functions yourself, and figure out how to use the buttons on your own. Fortunately, the layout is generally fairly standard, so this isn't too huge of a task, though I do prefer it when a proper manual is included. What's truly awe-inspiring is the price - you are paying just a couple of dollars each for fully functional scientific calculators that you can easily find sold individually on Amazon for many times the price. Sure they're cheaply made - they work, and you're paying so little that if you lose or break one, who cares? This is by far the best way to supply a whole class that I've seen, effective and budget-friendly. Recommended!

This is very clearly for giving to students. You would not spend only $3.50 for a scientific calculator for your personal use (at this writing it was $35 for 10 units), although this would be adequate for that task. This has everything you would need for advanced mathematics except for graphing of functions, matrices, and calculus. And if you are doing those things, it's better to write a computer program than use a calculator. It is also important that it does not have things you would not want to allow during a test: communications, and a persistent memory large enough to store test answers. The display is a liquid crystal, is not lighted but has great contrast and should be readable in any light. There is a function to adjust the display, but it came at a fine setting. There are two lines to the display so you can see what you input, and the answer, which can save you from some errors. So, where did they skimp to get this to cost $3.50? Although the battery door looks big enough for two AAA cells, inside there are two small button cells. So, harder to find and probably more expensive to replace than plain AAAs. The LCD and microprocessor don't take much power, so the batteries should last a while. The buttons are small.
