I have a 2011 Tacoma and had to replace the window channel in the drivers door. The door check assembly (hinge type part) now hits the OEM window channel when the door closes. No idea why. Common complaint. This extension fixed the issue for me. Cheap fix to what seems to be an EOM problem.
