Pretty much impossible to actually get the presta valve all the way in, as these are far too thick. Popped my tube pretty much instantly as I was filling it. Do yourself a huge favor and just get a shrader valve tire if you have a shrader rim. It's basically the same price as these and you'll actually have a functioning tire. That's what I'm doing now. Wish I had just saved my money and bought the tube in the first place.

I am sorry to report that these just did not work for me. They would not fit into the hole that the valve stem came out of. I’m sure they work on some bicycles but not mine.

This allows the user to use tubes with Presta valves in a wheel with a wider opening designed for Schrader valves. The fit well on my daughter’s bike wheels and tubes which were consistently getting flats around the Schrader valve. I was hoping the Presta valves with their ring would help prevent this problem, but they were too loose in the wheel holes. These adapters allow the valves to fit well. Hopefully, this will solve the problem of the flats at the valve.I worry the reviewer claiming the adapters were too tight was trying to use the adapters in the opposite way, with the wider Schrader valves instead of the narrower Presta valves as the tubes with Schrader valves tend to be cheaper. The adapters would not work to convert Presta to Schrader.

I go through a number of bikes, for refurb, resale, etc, & it's hard to keep a pre-ordered stock of particular valve types. Therefore, these adapt the larger holes to fit the narrower valves (& vice versa if I drill them out😜).
