I actually bought these for an unusual purpose and they work great. I design custom nutcrackers and these help to hold items in place like banding, clothing and accessories while the glue dries.

Great clamps. Had 5 big clamps and 5 small clamps. The clamps do not have a screw to tighten but they connect together with spiked teeth on the end. You form the clamps to the right shape and it connects by pressing down. The spiked teeth have a slight angle tilted to them so the stay in place once there connected. The clamps also have a square kink formed in the round band shape. I think this square kink shape is to connect this easier and it should help the clamp from shifting around. These were a good design in my opinion.
