I bought it to cut 3/8” zinc came. While it does cut it, it cuts very slowly

It is great for what I need it for but it is very lightweight and small. There are way better miter boxes but they also cost much more than this. Pay attention to the size, I am cutting softer 1inch metal with this but if anything much bigger it wouldn’t fit in the box.

I didn’t realize these were not standard size blade. Once I got a smaller saw to hold the blades I found they cut well. Just a few strokes I made a good start on cutting the tube. I think the smaller size will make some jobs easier because it will fit tight spaces easier.

Small but mighty really it is! I have this in my kitchen drawer along with all MY screwdrivers and little hammer. Cuts perfectly on the small trim piece I needed shortened.

This is a simple tool constructed of of aluminum. In my testing it guided my Japanese hand saw to make a very straight cut. It’s added 45 degree angles make it useful for creating picture frames and other fine woodworking projects. It is lightweight and seems durable as I was able to clamp down my piece of wood and the box down to my workbench without any issue or damage to the box. For the price this is a good option before getting into costlier box setups.
