Small but great to strap up boxes or totes

I find these are my most useful and simplest straps to use, they have one easy locking buckle that is simple to use. They hold tight and don't take long to strap something down. If I had to choose just one strap to carry, this type would be it!Love them!I hope this review and pics were helpful.

These lashing straps are made of woven nylon-like material. The straps are relatively small and are quite thin. So much so that they seem like they would not hold up very long. The zinc metal buckle is a bit rudimentary in construction and contains a lash-like lever that allows the strap to go in one way and grips it tight so it will not come back out the other way unless you push the lever down. Once the strap is threaded through the buckle and pulled tight the straps hold up really well no matter how tight I pull them. I can see how these straps could be used for a variety of things like: packages, suitcases and things usually tide down on the roof rack of a car or in a truck bed. Since these straps are just 78 inches long for things that are longer you can connect more of them together to make a lengthier strap. I used two of them put together to go over a box that was 3’ X 3’ X 1.5’ and the straps held together tightly. I just had to make sure I placed the buckles in spots that they would not be bumped and loosen up. Tying down long things on the roof of my car with these straps made it easy to run them around town or over to a friend’s house. Though since the straps are so thin I am not sure how long they would hold up on long trips. I will have to try it some time. I did not test how much weight the straps would hold but it is probably substantial. For the most part I think these strap are a pretty good buy for the 10 of them.
