These curtain weights are pretty heavy for a small item. The alligator clip is strong and will fasten it securely to the curtain keeping it down in a light to medium breeze. Overall a quality item

We got these for our outdoor projector screen so it doesn't move around as much on a windy day. works really well! No rusting even though it's always outside.

Lol Very Heavy and hugs the curtain very tight. They can get a bit noisy if you have to worry about showering with other people sleeping if you mess with the curtain a bunch but they definitely will keep your curtains from falling out of the tub or even worse constantly pulling itself in and touching you all cold and whatnot.

I got these for my shower curtain liner, because I have a teenager with a knack for not noticing that the liner slipped outside the tub and managing to accumulate like an inch of water on the bathroom floor. How? Teenage magic, I don't know. So I got these, got inside the shower, pulled the curtain closed, made sure the magnets were at both ends to hold it in place, then clipped these on in places along the side so they'd hold the liner inside but not dislodge the magnets once in place. They have a very secure grip, which was my biggest concern. The clips are strong. They are heavy, so a part of me expects that any given day now, the same teenage magic is going to somehow lead to three weights on the curtain liner somehow knocking a hole in the wall, but as long as you open and close the curtain in a calm manner, you hear them clanking, but there's no violent force behind it.And so far, they've been through three teenager showers and kept the liner (and the water) in the tub. That's all I ask for, so thanks!

Maybe a 3 mph wind but probably not even that. None of my plants are swaying, I honestly didn't even know it was breezy yet this super light breeze is lifting these things off the ground like they don't exist. I had three magnets on here before, total, and they held this curtain down. With 10 of these it's still blowing around like they're not even attached. (The magnets got knocked off over the years and lost so I wanted something that would attach more firmly.)

These curtain weights are definitely solid and heavy. So heavy that they completely destroyed the packaging when they were shipped to me - but the weights still held up nicely. Just clip to the bottom of the curtains and it really helps prevent flapping in the breeze. (My curtains are fairly sheer; it might require more of them for a more solid material and strong winds.)
