I used these to clean up the thread area of some old pipe threads after removing 50 year old pipe fittings. Worked like a champ. Not the same a thread chaser but all I wanted was to get rid of junk not re-do the threads.

They're not quick as stiff as I had hoped (that's what she said!) so the bristles bend pretty easily and don't bounce back. But for the price, they do a decent job.

Half of these snapped within minutes of first use. Within 5 minutes, 5 were snapped at the base of the wires, leaving them unable to go into the drill.Garbage.DO NOT waste your money.
