There is no assembly required. All mounting hardware needed for installation is included in the package, just install the hinges through the holes into the cabinet doors and side panel, and fine-tune with 4D adjustment. Very quick and easy installation.
Installation Notes
Installing Hinge to Door
- Drill hole of 1/2"(12.7mm) deep for hinge cup pertemplate using 1-2/5"(35mm) boring bit. Note: Do not drill through the door.
- Drill 1/16(1.5mm) pilot holes for the hinge.
- Insert the hinge into the door and fasten it with flat head wood screws.
Installing Door to Cabinet
- Open hinge to full extension.
- Connect door to side panel as shown by fasting the screws.
4D Adjustment Structure
- Adjust Up and Down by screw A(+/- 2mm)
- Adjust Left and Right by screw B(+/- 2mm)
- Adjust Front and Back by screw C(+/- 3mm)
- Of course, you can also adjust the closing speed of the door according to your needs, and it will take effect after closing the door once when speeding up.

We are replacing all the hinges in our kitchen with these Chibery soft close hinges. Installation has been easy and we have had no problems with making the change. The hinges work great, seem very sturdy and are a good heavy duty quality. So far one of the hinges in the box of 50 is broken and unusable. Hope the seller will see this review and send us a replacement hinge. Before you order, measure carefully to be sure which type and size you need before placing your order.

Thank goodness I did my research before purchasing my first small batch of these to replace what I have. I have since bought a package of 50 to replace all of my cabinets and future needs.. It is extremely important that you understand the gap measurements so you buy the right size. I went on YouTube and asked what this particular got measurement meant and that was a defining factor on this particular purchase so I got the right size. If you are not a contractor, who knows better and you are a do it yourself person, Please go on YouTube to find out the right measurement whether it’s 1 inch one and a quarter inch one and a half inch and so forth. Very simple process to figure that out if you don’t know and a very simple process to install. My only recommendation for installation is to leave the door on the hinges and start replacing one by one beginning with the middle of three brackets. I do not recommend taking the entire door off and installing the brackets on the cabinet or the door first. Complete one bracket at a time is the quickest and most efficient way. My first of 30 doors I took every bracket off and it was a challenge that first door on. I adapted and did one bracket on the door, leaving the door fixed to the cabinet. The entire time was great. Taking the door off and its entirety will take you 15 minutes per door as a do it yourself person but if you do one bracket at a time per door, it will take you 30 seconds per bracket. Sidenote: They operate very well and in most of my kitchen cabinets I only had to replace one or two of the three brackets. Replacing all three makes the door go extremely slow.

I replaced all my existing hinges with these and quality looked to be the same. Fit was identical to originals. I left the damping setting as shipped.The originals used damping cylinders that stopped working after 5 years. We will see if these last longer. The advantage is that now 3 dampers replace one cylinder as each hinge has its own. It was more work to replace them than changing out the damping cylinders, but was cheaper. Would do it again if I needed to.
