This is a great container for rice, flour, oatmeal anything you might use on a regular and have a constant abundance of. All you go to do is screw the handle into big part of the jar and it works as your on and off switch to get your rice or flour.

So much good to say, on this rice dispenser, which would also work for other similar grains and dals.ProsGORGEOUS form and function that will fit any kitchen decorCLEAR glass, shout out how beautiful it really is.AIRTIGHT lid is easy to open and close.STURDY build will last for a long time.ConsGLASS MEASURE came broken, the dispenser legs are short so that other measures are not easily substituted.This dispenser arrived well packed, except for the cup which cracked inside the glass container. Directions were lacking, so some fiddling is needed for assembly. I wish replacement cups were available, I need one :) Highly recommend if you make a lot of rice. I deducted one star for the rather essential broken cup.

Very easy to put together and perfect for rice. The only thing i had an issue with is the glass came cracked. Before i realized it was broke it was already to late.

This was soo easy to put together and is just so nice. The measuring cup is in ml I believe or another metric other than cups. I love how durable this is.

This was super easy to put together and a little screwdriver was even included, which was really nice. I like the look of bamboo and glass. The capacity is large - I could fit an entire bag of the organic jasmine rice I usually buy in there. The little measuring cup is a nice touch, but the thing sits low, so if you want to dispense into anything else, it might be a problem. I'm not sure I want to put rice in this, as rice will eventually make the glass cloudy, and you'll have to remove it to clean it. (My glass canisters had the same problem.) Removing for cleaning isn't difficult, but I feel like oatmeal would be a better bet for long-term use. Looks really nice sitting on the counter, though, and makes it convenient to dispense whatever IS in it. Getting the little "door" closed is a bit of an issue, so I wouldn't say it's completely air tight, but if you use rice or oatmeal or whatever you have in there often enough, then you'll go through it before anything gets stale anyway. It's more of an issue just to get the stuff to stop coming out.
