Despite the description touting its leak proof feature, this product *definitely* leaks. It leaves little soy sauce rings whenever you use it, which honestly happens with a lot of cheap soy sauce dispensers. Just be ready to having to clean up/put a paper towel under it.

Other bottles tended to drip a lot. Need to get used to how it flows, but works quite well. Can control how much I use on the table, without messes.

It's a good soy sauce bottle overall. The glass is heavy though, compared to the Oxo one that I also got. The Oxo one feels more comfortable to hold because of weight and doesn't leak. However, I do like the larger size of this one more, as well as its more traditional look. The Oxo one also pours a bit smoother, but also pours less at a time (slower pour).I bought some bottles to try because I was sick of the Kikkoman ones with the pourer breaking. The plastic pourer on those ones broke easily, which lead to leaking while pouring.This one won't leak, provided you use it very specifically. For the silicone gasket that goes between the glass bottle and lid - you have to clean it off first, and then place that gasket on the glass rim and align it to the centre as best as you can. Then, you screw the lid on, and it will not leak from the sides. If you put the silicone gasket into the lid, or you leave the gasket in the lid and don't take it out and re-align it on the rim of the glass after using it (refilling), it will leak from the sides. It's kind of a pain, but at least it's possible for it to not leak with the proper technique.

Great but doesn't work as good as I thought it would. Easy to clean and the glass is thick so it won't crack or break easily. Only thing is the shoyu (soy sauce) I use it for pours out to quickly. Even with me covering the hole on the back to stop air flow from going in. Cap screwed on tightly, it still pours out to much. Or I would've given this product 5 stars.

I have kept this on my table for around a month and so far, it has worked well. Unlike some containers, there has been no leaking down the side due to the longer spout. Some may find that it pours too much at once, so if you want something that sprinkles more than pours, this may not be for you. As someone else said, it's actually pleasurable to use this container! It's kind of weird, but I totally understand!

A very nice dispenser of soy, and fish sauce. It has a very controllable flow. I decided not to get ones with valves as they had reported problems. What I did was fashion stoppers using a bamboo chopstick, see the photo. These stoppers completely seal the spouts from leaks. See the photo’s. I am very pleased.

I usually bought a large bottle of Kikkoman soy sauce and transferred a smaller amount to a used Kikkoman dispenser. After using this method for a number of years, I got tired of all the dripping.I ordered the Asvel soy sauce dispenser. It works and looks great. Most importantly, the leakage has stopped.The bottle is well designed and made of glass. Describing the bottle as having a "stainless steel cap" is misleading. It is a plastic cap with a stainless steel wrapper.

This is a perfect soy sauce pot. Since I buy soy sauce in a large bulk container, I use this at the dinner table. It works great, allows for a huge range of pouring speeds (from tiny drops to full on stream) which makes it excellent for cooking too. Made of very nice materials (glass/metal), and it looks great. Plus, it's super easy to clean.No complains!
