PLEASE NOTE
1. This Techbee TC201 Outdoor Timer Plug doesn't allow programming based on actual time. If you need timing programs based on actual time, please consider Techbee T319 Interval Timer Plug.
2. The timer requires to be plugged into a powered outlet for the screen to display properly and for program settings to be adjusted,but it's capable of saving program settings even after a power outage. It is important to note that after a power outage, the timer will resume the program based on the state it was in before the outage. For example, if a cycle program of “on for 5 minutes, off for 10 minutes” was interrupted during the 3rd minute of the “on” cycle, the timer will resume by starting the “on” cycle from the beginning when power is restored, and similarly for the off period.
4. We suggest hanging the timer vertically with the bottom outlet pointed towards the ground and at least 2ft above the ground for maximum weather resistance. Also, additional measures to protect the timer from heavy rain or snow are recommended as the bottom outlet of the timer is not 100% weatherproof due to its structure.

Tips for Use and Main Features
PLEASE NOTE:
- Please plug the timer into a live outlet to set it as it has no internal battery. You can move it to another outlet after setting up.
- The light sensor has a 12-minute delay to avoid interference by torch lights, headlights and so on.
- When used on lights, the photocell should not face the lights directly in order to avoid interference.
- 3 Cycle Modes: 24 hour cycle(infinite cycle), day cycle, night cycle
- 4 ON/OFF Modes: always ON/OFF, ON from dawn to dusk or ON from dusk to dawn

3 Modes of Interval Cycle Timer
Infinite Cycle Mode
For example, to have the nutrient pump for your hydroponics run for 15 minutes every 4 hours.
Min interval: 1 second
Max interval: 999 hours
Day Cycle Mode
For example, to have your fountain pump run for 10 minutes every 1 hour only during the day time.
Min interval: 1 second
Max interval: 999 hours
Night Cycle Mode
For example, to set the exhaust fans for your chicken coop to run for 5 minutes every 2 hours only at night.
Min interval: 1 second
Max interval: 999 hours
More Functions and Applications
For Example:
1. Set your fish tank light to be on only during the day (on from dawn to dusk).
2. Set your bug zapper to be on only at night (on from dusk to dawn).
3. Set your hot water recirculating system to come on at dawn and stay on for 3 hours to ensure you wake up with hot water and save energy.
4. Set your Christmas lights to come on at dusk and stay on for 5 hours to save the job of having to manually deal with it.

This product came with instructions, but the layout and simplicity of this device is so intuitive you won't need them. If all electronics manufacturers could take a lesson from this company and make their devices this simple to use right out of the box, then nobody would be intimidated by new technology.I bought this item to power up a kerosene heater in my barn for these frigid winter days of 30° and below (as cold as 4° so far this season). Basically you can't let a kerosene heater run non-stop in enclosed areas because of the exhaust. This timer allows me to set the heater to power up for 5 minutes, then remain off for 25 minutes and repeat. No more walking out to the barn to plug the heater in and waiting for it to run its course before powering down to go back to the house. A fantastic item for anything that needs on/off/repeat cycles.

This thing's amazing. Just as easy an intuitive as you could ever hope. I've not read the instructions but can operate it perfectly. What a great item. I use it to water plants for X seconds per Y hours/min/sec, powering a pond pump hooked to irrigation outlets for my indoor greenhouse. I can't imagine anything that meets my needs at a better price. The build quality is far beyond what I would expect for the price, too. I'm just all around impressed by this random buy.

I really like this product. In most cases after power failure it starts right up and begins its timing cycle. However, I was using it to turn a pump on and off and when power is lost during pumping it could reset into programming mode. As long as the pump was off when power was lost, it seems to be ok. Also, the module turning the pump on and off was ok as well. It occasionally resets only when power is lost and the pump is pumping.Perhaps a surge protector on the motor would help this but hasn’t been tested.

I own literally 3 of these. I only felt the need todo this review because there is a consistency with timers and “reviewers of timers”. There is always a slew of people who complain they don’t work or are too complicated to set. Comparatively this one is a joke!Here is the trick:Read the instructions. Like 3x at LEAST BEFORE you attempt to program. IF YOU READ WHILE YOU’RE SETTING YOU WILL SCREW IT UP. With all such things READ through FIRST and then read while programming.Be MINDFUL that this timer has increments of “seconds, minutes and hours” (far right of the screen). Make sure you set ON in the right value of time in seconds, mins or hours and the off time the same.So for example: on for 60 seconds. Off for 4 hours. On for 15 mins and off for 1 hour. Etc.I admit, all timers can be weird and the more robust they are the more complex they get.This one is simple. It only has on and off. No specific days and only one set interval. The “day night” sensor confuses the issue but again if you read the instructions, you disable that feature if you don’t want to use it.Again though. Be aware. The seconds-mins-hours designation you assign to your on and off times is critical. And no it doesn’t have to be the same. I use one that is on for 90 seconds (a minute and a half because you can’t set 1.5 mins so you just use for example : seconds in the total time to get that measurement) and off for 15 mins.So it goes on for a minute and a half. Then off for 15 mins. Then on for a minute and a half. Then off for 15 mins. Etc.

1) Received this product shipment very quickly, however this product does not carry UL approval for the USA.It only carries CE "self certification" for some European countries:- the CE certification of this product does not comply and is not applicable with the U.S. National Electric Code,- this manufacturer does not list the USA UL certification mark in the technical data sheet supplied with the product, nor is a U.S. UL certification sticker or UL mark applied to this device.2) The technical data sheet received states that *** this device does not have any internal memory for the program you enter in the timer. ***Therefore, I had to start from scratch and reprogram it again when I unplugged the device!I cannot take the fire or safety risk of not having UL approval on this device.Also, I do not have the time to reprogram this unit every time it may be unplugged or otherwise loses power.Therefore, I will be returning these two devices

Not going to lie, I bought this for kinky S&M fun. A little bondage, a vibrating wand, and this timed outlet for some long term T&D.We don't have an incredibly long time of use with it yet, but so far its been fantastic.So easy to use and self explanatory that you can just look at the screen and keys and figure it out, and so far its worked perfectly. Feels very durable too.Can definitely see this being perfect for gardening reasons and many others as well. I'd recommend this time outlet.
