Even though I received this product at no cost to me, I am reviewing it honestly as though I had paid full price for it.The connectors arrived in a simple plastic bag with a label stating made in China. The writing on the wires says that they are 0.5 mm² which is equivalent to 20 AWG. The wires are sealed into the base of each side of the connector, which should help with the water resistance compared with other types of connectors where the user has to crimp the terminal end on the wire and then push it into the connector. Also, the ends of the wires are pre-tinned, which helps with making secure solder connections. It took a moderate amount of force to push the connector together and to pull it apart again, indicating that the silicone flange was making a good seal on both sides of the connector.I tested these connectors in three different ways: the strength of the connector, the electrical resistance and the water resistance. To measure the strength, I hung a 10-pound barbell off one side while the other side was secured in a vise. The connector and wires remained intact.I used a Fluke digital multimeter to measure the electrical resistance through the connection. A good connector will be less than 0.5 Ohms. This connector was less than 0.1 Ohms for both the red wires and the black wires. So the electrical conductivity is excellent.I don’t anticipate this connector (when in service) to be submerged in water for more than a few seconds (e.g. driving though a large puddle), so I tested by putting a joined connector in a glass of water for 5 seconds letting it dry in air on a horizontal surface and then opening the connector and looking for water or signs of corrosion. There was no sign of water entry or damage after the water test.In conclusion, I’m very pleased with the quality of this connector, and I certainly would buy it again if I need more in the future.

Using these to run 12v power around a car. I want to be able to run 12v power and have ground be to the body so I just need the positive power. So these will be perfect. They are waterproof and single pin which is all I need. Im not pulling a ton of power so they should fit my needs.

Inspection Review -- These 2-pin connectors look good quality.I plan to use on upcoming 4x4 customizations that require waterproof wired connections.I will update review if I run into any quality or longevity issues.

I have a lot of DIY electrical projects going. I own an older Jeep Wrangler, and it's not only my toy, it's my platform for a lot of other toys. I have LED pods, led strips, whip lights, all sorts of things, installed in my Jeep. I love using plugs for things; being able to unplug an LED pod to reposition it or switch it out is much nicer than having to cut the wire each time. I go through plugs pretty quickly, so am always looking for more, so when I saw these I decided to try them.These arrived in a nice bag and contained just the plugs.These are good quality connectors! I haven't played with this style much, I typically go for the deustch style plugs, but I've heard good things and I wanted to give them a shot. I have a lithium bank that has several accessories that I wanted to be able to be connected and disconnected so that the bank is removable. I toyed with having each thing on its own plug and harness, but why not have everything on one big plug?Overall I'm pleased with these plugs. I don't have many that have quite so many contacts, and its nice to use one big plug instead of several smaller ones.
