Fine sugar bowl. Arrived quickly and in perfect condition. The knob on the lid is difficult to grip so it can slip from fingers easily. Would have been better if it were slightly tapered or with a ripple design.

I love this bowl for serving sambal oelek at the table. Sambal is a chili paste in vinegar, so I wanted glass for storage and swapped out the cute little stainless steel spoon for a cute ceramic one—vinegar can eat through a metal, over time.The bowl is sturdy and makes for a great presentation.I do not understand some of the reviews I read; it’s like some folks have expectations up to the moon. The lid handle is NOT going to break from normal use. The spoon is NOT going to rust with average care (I don’t recommend storing it in a vinegar based sauce, but great for serving chili oil). The jar is simple, attractive, and functional.Oh, the bowl and spoon are perfect for sugar, too.
