I purchased the 1 PC-Cone-Type Spark Arrestor Screen 2.8 to enhance the safety of my tent stove setup. The idea was to minimize sparks that could be potentially harmful. However, the experience was not what I had hoped for. Here's a detailed look at my observations:Pros:Construction Quality: The screen appeared to be well-constructed, and the materials seemed durable enough for outdoor use.Easy Installation: Installing the spark arrestor screen was a fairly simple process, and it seemed to fit well with my existing setup.Cons:Smoke Leakage: Unfortunately, I encountered a significant issue with the screen. Whenever I used it, I noticed a lot of smoke coming back into my tent. This not only filled my tent with an unpleasant smell but also raised concerns about the safety and effectiveness of the screen.Lack of Instructions: I did wonder if I might have done something wrong during installation, but the product came with minimal instructions, leaving me somewhat in the dark about proper usage.Conclusion:The 1 PC-Cone-Type Spark Arrestor Screen 2.8 has potential, but the smoke leakage issue is a serious concern. It's possible that I made a mistake during installation, but without clear guidance from the manufacturer, it's hard to say. As it stands, I can't fully recommend this product without reservations.If you're considering this spark arrestor screen, I'd suggest looking for more information or considering other options that come with better instructions and proven performance. The idea behind the product is excellent, but the execution, at least in my case, fell short. A 2-star rating reflects my dissatisfaction with the product.

I love the quality of the wire mesh .. must have wire screens . I use in exhaust end pipe exit and with an excellent price , I have a couple on hand.

Installed this as an external arrestor on a kfx450r open exhaust to give better flow than the insert that goes with the exhaust system. Had to secure it with a little creativity. First installed it using tie wire to hold it by looping around the screw holes on the spark arrestor and the bolts at the end of the muffler. Lasted one ride, no problem. Wanted an easier way to remove and install it without having to cut the wire and put on new wire every time. Tried using some strong springs to hold it tight to the cone on the outlet. This made it easy to put on and take off. Although it was pretty tight to the muffler, vibration started weakening it. First, the end of the screen where it is crimped and spot welded broke off, leaving a hole where the screen tapers together. After riding more with it that way, I later noticed that the entire screen had broken off the metal ring. It just can't handle the amount of exhaust blasting out of the pipe unless it is very secure. Although it broke on me, I am buying another and ditching the spring mounting setup. I'll figure out a more secure way, possibly by drilling the aluminum cone on my muffler and putting screws in it. Not how I really wanted to do it, but I like the extra flow this arrestor gives, and will do whatever is necessary to make it work. If the second one holds up ok, I'll upgrade my rating...
