you can't tell you need these until you get in there and take out the old ones.

It's hard to tell if these are official GM rosettes or just a good imitation. They don't come in a GM box or anything, but it's ok.They are very useful for replacing rusted out VIN tags and you want to make sure the rivets are correct looking.They install easily with a normal rivet gun and don't break easily.Highly recommend.

One of the rosettes had a burr under the head that needed smoothed off.The rosettes are non-magnetic stainless steel, the shank is regular steel.These will work for thinner metal, probably too short if you want to rivet onto chassis frame steel.If you need em, you need em.I can't see anything that would keep me from using them and for the current price I think they are a good value.I hope my review and pictures were Helpful to you.
