This sensor is well-made and sturdy. It does not come pre-coated so you will need to add some thread tape before you screw it in. However, I could not give 5 stars because the description said it would fit my vehicle and did not have the same connector. I could not test the part as it did not fit correctly but as I said, I am sure it would work great in the proper vehicle. Check part numbers and cross reference with another source before you order and this should work great!

This temp sensor fit my 1997 Ford Ranger XLT 4.0l perfectly. It got the temperature gauge working again. A very good value.
