The material is very similar to a reusable shopping bag, so it wouldn't protect your artwork from bending. I was expecting something a little more sturdy.

Review of 1 Pack Art Portfolio Bag, Art Portfolio Case,Nylon Lightweight Art Portfolio Case Fit 18x24 Inch Artworks,Black Carrying Storage Case For Poster, Sketching And Drawing, Waterproof FoldableThe portfolio will hold one 24x18 inch stretched 3/4” canvas, but the zipper top does not wrap around the end so it is a tight fit. Once in the bag it fits well, but getting it in can be difficult because the zipper cuts off about 1/2” of the top length. It will not hold a framed 24x18 inch canvas so that limits its usefulness in transporting finished artwork for gallery shows. However, for carrying large sketch books, or one 24x18 unframed canvas it will work fine. It will work great for carrying smaller framed works. It has two Velcro fastened sleeves on the outside of the bag, those come in handy for papers, pencils, pens, etc. There are no dividers inside of the portfolio, just one space.If you want this for carrying framed 24x18 paintings, look elsewhere. If you want it for smaller works, it is well made, not padded, but water resistant, zipper closed main compartment, has securely mounted handles and is really not bad at all for the price.

This very basic carrier fits my 16x24 pads for art class and the strap is long enough to go over the shoulder so I can carry my coffee cup and art supply bag. I don’t think it will hold up to a lot of abuse but it’s so inexpensive that I’m giving it 5 stars.

This is exactly what my daughter needed for her college artwork. He assignments were not bigger than this size, so there was never an issue. It's well made and the shoulder strap is a great addition. The outside pouch is great for carrying a few things but, when she fills the portfolio bag with work, I will likely suggest not using it, so it doesn't press anything hard against her artwork. Otherwise, it's great! Recommended!

This is exactly what I was looking for. Something that would protect a piece of canvas or framed photo. It seems to be well built, and the option of a carrying strap is a nice plus. I also like the outside pocket that isn't simply an open pocket, but has a flap with a small piece of velcro in place to keep the flap closed. All in all, for the price you get a nice portfolio that provides decent protection. Well done.

I brought this bag for my daughter art appliances and it holding up very well and nice. She hasn't complained about it at all.
