It did the job fixing the AC on my 2010 Toyota Prius (US Spec).Issue started with AC not working too well during 80F days. I noticed the AC on the driver side center vent was cooler than the passenger side center vent. It's very odd, but was confirmed by a forum member. The air coming out was cold, but felt humid. I also noticed very loud gurgling sound that did not go away from the dash area. Having this type of issue seemed quite normal on a Prius, which I found to be odd.After researching, this kit offered no type of oil or sealant, unlike other kits, which is crucial to a sensitive system like on the Prius which uses an electric compressor. With the AC on LO, Recirc, HI speed, doors open, system running for 10 mins on a 85F day, the gauge measured ~20psi, which is very low. I looked up the chart for low side pressure vs ambient temp and conservatively charged to 40psi, still not in range, but better undercharge than overcharge. (I paid attention to ensure AC compressor was at it's highest speed). The end result, the vent temperature was a decent 44F. For a quick 15 mins fix, it was definitely a lifesaver during these hot summer months.I'm not a professional, but I am technical. Please do your own research and know what you're doing. This gauge/hose with can of R134 makes this a great bargain. The gauge/hose is reusable unlike some other brands. Otherwise, you buy to gauge/hose and can of R134 separately for more bucks.
