The threads on this item are oversized. It bottoms out before it even starts to get tight. It won’t seal even with alots of Teflon tape or silicone

Made of quality material and pretty cheap. Worked well for a project we needed it for.

You need to use a lot of teflon tape (12-17 turns) plus teflon paste to somehow keep it seal. Not recommended if will be used with the standard cone-shaped thread ends, like standard copper pipe fittings.Potentially might be OK on cylindrical threads only.

Hass to be the worst pipe thread I have ever seen no matter how much Teflon will never seal you can bottom the pipe out inside the fitting dry

Does the job, not super high quality. It didn't have long enought threads on one side so it would not screw all the way. I had to cut some of the threads on the male piece i was inserting so that it would fit. Definetly worth the 10 dollar i paid for.
