If you have never used tungsten putty before, it is great for fine-tuning the weight on pinewood derby cars. You can get the exact amount so that the car is precisely at the limit. This specific kind seems to work well, it’s malleable similar to a soft eraser and slightly sticky so you can press it into small cavities or axle slots. Definitely recommended for getting car weight exact.

This is a must have for every Cub Scout pine wood derby. And you can use it for fly fishing too - or so I am told! HA!
