Waste of money. Made me angry to buy from Amazon. The threads were not cut correctly so it wouldn't thread onto to he rod I bought. So I bought a tap and die set to correct the threads only to learn the coupling nut isn't even round inside. It's oval shaped making it difficult to turn on the rod during part of it's revolution. Water of money totally useless.

Had problems with this item not threading all the way. I guess i'm one of the unlucky ones. I work in a machine shopsetting, so just tapped both pieces. True that's hard to find. Try Grainger, but might cost more though. Here, a tap bit for this will cost around $14. So do the math .

As said by another review, the threads will only allow half at best insertion before binding. Tried with four different threaded shafts. None went more than half way. Have to chase the thread for it to work. $15-30 if you don't have the tap or access to one to fix a $6 part.
