I used these in a self-build project on Planet Mojo (YouTube Channel). I used treated lumber for the sole plate, and these hot-dipped galvanized washers will stand up to the wood treatment. These large square washers give far better hold-down than round washers, and the slots allow flexibility when there is a slightly off centered anchor bolt. I used these on the main house as well, and that structure went through some 80 mph winds with no problem already.
