Make colored candles in three simple steps

parrafin, coconut soy, beeswax with candle dye

Measure the wax and dye by weight, following the recommended quantities shown on the chart above.

diy candles - pour and melt

Heat wax until it completely melts and reaches 150F, add the wax chips and stir until completely dissolved.

candle diy - pour and let cool

Pour your colored wax into your desired container or mold and let cool. Once wax completely hardens, enjoy!

These work so well for candles! I've only used liquids before, but they were so messy and it was hit or miss if there was good color payout, but these are a no-brainer. They seem a bit messy in their bags, but they really aren't. I just open a bag, and use tweezers to take out the amount I need and drop it in my hot wax. Some do take a bit to melt, but its fun to watch the color develop as they melt. You can even mix colors together. I love that I was able to get a big variety of colors, so much fun!

Got this for my daughter, and she loves how well they blend into the wax. She also loves that she can have better control over the hue with the flakes. It also allows her to swirl and blend multiple colors, too. She definitely recommends this anyone else who makes candles.

These dye flakes are great. The color distributes well, the price point is reasonable, and the vibrancy and saturation is really good. No added scent or chemical smell.
