About this item

  • 4 REMOTE BUTTONS: Program each button to activate up to 24 scenes or other devices in your network for one-touch control of your favorite smart lighting presets. Use the buttons to enter "Away" mode on your way out or to turn off all of the lights before you go to bed with a single click.
  • FLEXIBLE INSTALLATION: Put it in a standard decora box next to your switches, fix it to a wall, or keep it handy on your night stand. The Wall Remote comes with a magnetic base and a stylish screwless wallplate.
  • RECHARGEABLE BATTERY: This handy remote comes with a rechargeable battery so it's easy to use and maintain. No wires, no hassle. 5-year extended warranty once registered plus lifetime tech support.
  • Z-WAVE HUB COMPATIBILITY: Most basic Z-Wave systems aren't advanced enough to allow scene control programming. The ZEN37 Wall Remote is supported by the Z-Box Hub (recommended for Zooz products) and works with SmartThings (with a custom driver, instructions included with the product), Hubitat (custom driver required), Home Assistant, and HomeSeer. Please do NOT buy this device if your hub isn't listed here, it will not be recognized correctly by your system.
  • LONG RANGE READY: This product is built on the latest 800 series Z-Wave chip for better signal coverage than ever. If your Z-Wave hub supports Long Range, you'll enjoy up to 1300 feet in range and ultra reliable direct-to-hub communication. S2 authenticated security and SmartStart offer an effortless and safe pairing experience.

NOTE: This is an advanced Z-Wave device. Check hub compatibility before purchasing this product.

Been using this 4-button remote for 2 months with Home Assistant. It works great. Very responsive. All other Z-wave devices in my house are Leviton. You want to stand next to the Z-wave hub while adding it to the network and be patient. It does take a minute or 2 to complete the process.

Electronically it works great! Mechanically, the two large buttons are very sticky causing accidental double & triple clicks when you intended just one.You can even hear the sticky middle button on one of the video reviews.Sending it back for a replacement. Hopefully it isn't a chronic issue.

What a relief to get this installed on my new Hubitat C7 controller. The two other brands I bought - and returned - had minimal install information .This one came in a box with QR codes for each of the various controllers. The website was very thorough however I am new to this controller and I was trying to figure out how to do the programming on the “device” page as I had with everything else I installed. They also provided email address for questions.I sent an email with my questions and they quickly replied with the information and links which led me to doing the programming in the “Hubitat rules machine” .

I really liked the other Zooz Z-Wave switch (the paddle-type) so was interested in this remote. Although it was easy to set up/connect, I'm disappointed with how cheap it feels. The buttons make extra clicking noises because of how much play the pads have (they shift instead of traveling up/down) and I'm worried the buttons will break quickly.

I’m using this as a wireless light scene controller that also can be removed for portable use. That is, the switch is magnetic, and they give you a mounting bracket so it’ll clip onto the wall as if it were hardwired like a regular paddle light switch. You can then detach it and attach it as desired.I was a bit nervous because my home automation system is an older HomeSeer 3 setup, with an older Z-NET Z-Wave interface. My concerns were unfounded. It was easily included into my network, and events can be set up so when you press or hold press a button a command is sent to a device (or multiple devices, like the old MiniMotes).Reports battery life remaining 1-2 times a day, even if you don’t use the switch. I’ve attached a picture of the battery life graph that I track with the “Device History” 3rd party HomeSeer plug-in. Looks like the battery will last a reasonably long time on a charge (USB-C port — so standard), too.Great flexibility, too, in that there are Z-Wave parameters to control the control of the light. I’m planning to see if I can set it up so that when the battery is reported at, say, less than 20%, the light turns red when you use the device so you know you need to plug it in soon. The light works as follows. First, until you include it in the network, it doesn’t really work (tho my memory may be fuzzy on this point). Once included, pressing it causes the light to illuminate when it sends an event to the controller.Better yet, when you hold it down, the light doesn’t illuminate until a “long press” event has been sent. You know, in other words, that once you see the light, you can let go. This is an improvement over my old MiniMote Z-Wave remotes (the form factor of which I still prefer, but after 10 years the battery’s shot)l which would blink regardless of whether it sent a command. They also have a simple on/off variety that works off battery as an FYI.Pleased as punch that I found these!

This is my favorite Z-Wave product in my house. The four buttons, combined with the ability to specify what to do for up to 5 presses on each, offers such flexibility and possibilities. I have five of these switches in the most common rooms in my home. Each are set up for different scenes and devices depending on the button and press count. Home Assistant makes it so easy to program these switches, as always. I love that the switches are rechargeable, too! Even the mounting hardware with the magnetic backing so you can remove the switch easily is a bonus. Five stars all the way.

Got this remote to use with our ceiling fan in our bedroom. The fan and light are on z-wave switches, but my wife wanted a physical remote by her side of the bed as well. I set this up so that the top button toggles the light on/off, the middle toggles the fan, and the bottom buttons are speed up/down for the fan. Works so well I'm considering getting a 2nd for my side of the bed.
