I have been drumming for over 30 years. After studying afro Cuban drum set, I fell in love. These are a must. They look, sound, and feel just as good as the top name latin blocks. Playing them side by side, I cannot tell the difference. These work great on a kit but can also be great as a teaching aid. They cut through the sound wall great and really stand out.

These plastic "woodblocks" are exactly what I expected them to be... Nice sound, high and low pitches, mounting hardware to attach them to a stand, and very sturdy. The little mallet is cute. :-) Very pleased.
