This step platform seems like it's made well. I'm a little skeptical of the strength of the individual riser pads, but time will tell. The product box was damaged, but I don't think it did anything to the product during shipping. The platform is wrapped in plastic and mine does have a blemish on the top rubber that I'm not thrilled about. I'm hoping the rubber will hold up for years to come as that is where this product will show the most wear.

Pros:This is a very solid and full sized step platform, meaning you won't lose your footing and it won't tip over while you're using it.Risers can lock into place nothing wobbles and you can stack everything together neatly in one unit.Risers can also be used on their own as mini platforms.The design is very much like the Les Mills version, but in my opinion looks a lot nicer.Rubber feet won't scratch your floors and ensures that the platform stays in place while in use.Great value for your money - if you wait for it to come down in price. This version was going for over $200 at one point but I watched and waited - eventually it came down to $172 and that's when I snapped it up.Cons:This is a very heavy step platform, which can be a good thing because that's what makes it safe and solid (a pro). But the weight also makes it not portable, so I have to store it in my living room where I work out. I would've loved to store it in the basement but there's no way I can lug this thing up and down the stairs - that in itself is a difficult workout.There are no instructions and there's a steep learning curve to popping the risers on and off. I thought, how hard could it be to figure out? As it turned out, it was actually very hard lol. Luckily, there's a very helpful review below by someone named TC who demonstrates how to pop the risers apart, which I had to watch a few times before I finally figured it out. Make sure to expand the video to full screen so you can easily see how she does it.TL; dr: this step is beautifully designed and solidly made. If you're looking for a quality step platform, you won't find a better one (including the Les Mills one) than this.

First, I have tested a few on Amazon and Ebay and this one out of 6 tested is the best overall. @ $45 that I got it for, it's perfect for all types of aerobic exercise. It's sturdy and can hold up to 280 pounds from real use, in that I had someone I work out with who is 280 jump over and over on it, and I found no issues with it. At 220, I can jump on it all day and it's very sturdy , bends little to nothing and was tested on carpet and wood flooring. Easy to setup and move around. It's a legit 8 inch step if you measure it, and you can make it higher by buying a few more risers if needed. The size is perfect in that it isn't too small or too big. If I had to recommend any of the products I tried, it would be this one. The grip on top is good, after over a month no wear shows. Doesn't slide on any type of surface I tried. I found no issues with this and would certainly recommend to others.

I love this step. Very sturdy and the locking risers make it easy to move during a workout. Mainly use it for BodyPump and stretch classes. My one complaint is that it did not come with instructions on how to add or remove the risers.....this is an issue because there is a definite knack to it and it took me more than a few uses to figure it out. Otherwise highly recommend.

This is a solid step and I don't think it is going to give out any time soon. But with that sturdiness comes weight, just the platform is fairly easy to maneuver, but once you start adding the risers that thing gets heavy. That is not a complaint, merely an observation so that readers can make an informed choice.Many other reviews and questions mention separating the risers. This does require some finger strength but they do come apart. I have found that if you locate one of the locking pegs and focus on pulling just one out, the remaining ones are easily levered out.I am only a month in to using this platform but it is great for step workouts. The kids love playing "The floor is lava" using the platform and risers, and I even bought an extra pair of risers to give them more 'rocks' to step on.One thing to note when using the platform at an angle is that it only works with 1 or 2 risers to elevate one side. More than that and the risers don't sit flat on the floor.Overall this is the best step platform I have ever owned thanks to the fact that it is sturdy, versatile and when you factor in those positives, the price is worth it for what you get out of it.

Since I just don't feel safe at my gym because of COVID19, I decided to equip a home gym for aerobics and light workouts. I enjoy step aerobics but didn't want to shell out $170 for the Les Mills equipment like they have at the gym. First, I bought a little $40 step without realizing it was a LITTLE step. I just didn't feel confident stepping on and off from it. It was too small to be sturdy. Then I bought the Yes4All club adjustable aerobic platform. It was NOT good. It "gave" in the middle when stepped upon and squeaked horribly with every step so finally, I purchased this step. This is premium Yes4All step is EXACTLY like the Les Mills step but considerably less pricey. It is very, very sturdy. It does not move, it doesn't squeak and I feel confident with every step. I use it while playing the step videos included with Amazon Prime and now I will never take another step class away from home again. I like the prime videos much more than the gym instructors and this step is every bit as good as the pricey gym equipment.

I bought this for Les Mills BodyPump since I can’t attend the classes at my gym anymore. It’s a little less than $40 under the LM brand. I’m reviewing it because I was nervous on buying this or duct with no revives to guide me, so I wanted to help out someone who’s considering this but likes reviews how I do.It arrived 2 days earlier than expected. Simple packaging (packaging wrapped in a plastic covering. The risers are already connected so it’s good to go out of the box if that’s your preference..I haven’t tried to take them off so I can’t speak on the ease or functionality of thatI’ve only used this for two different LM workouts, so I can’t speak on durability either.I will update accordingly.I was doing the workouts at home without the bench and now that I use it, I can honestly say it makes a difference on the entire workout for the better. It can be used for various workouts no matter what you’re into.It’s sturdy and solid. It holds and comfortably supports my back, and it stays secure and in place when I use it for push ups and other exercises. The material feels like a combo of rubber smoothed out on a solid surface if that makes sense?! It’s firm, yet gentle on the back. It looks almost identical to the LM one(from what I’ve seen online). It’s heavy but not so heavy that it can be easily picked up and moved during your workout. It doesn’t look or feel cheap and it’s perfect for what I need it for. I’m glad I bought this.
