This works good,HOWEVER,The end caps for the axles after the wheels are put on are not ideal. To attach them, they utilize a "push on lock" style washer. It's important to understand what those are. If you have to replace the wheel for any reason, you also have to replace those. Which may not be as easy to replace.A cotter pin or split pin would have been better for this application, like most other spreaders do.AND as most other spreaders, it's hard using this on iced surfaces as the wheels won't move and the salt want spread where you want.Assembly instructions need to be better and pictures need to be bigger. But it only take about 30 minutes to put together.

Product is great. Dasicically its in kit form and exyensive assembly bof parts. Directions are difficult nto follow by this 85 year old . Had to have my son assemble it5. It took him 4 hours. Ifnot for him, I would not assemble and use it. Put anote bon advertizing that assembly is required .

I gave up on assembling this thing. Too old to deal with the aggravation. I did not realize it was a kit and not partially assembled as other spreaders I have seen. I sent it back and was refunded the money. Thankful for that!

I bought this as a replacement for my Scott’s spreader. Much better quality, sturdier. It spreads evenly and the larger wheels make it easier to navigate. Would buy again.

Took an hour to assemble. Pushes easily, but as far as doing the job it's supposed to? Not so much.It only spread out of the right side (half of which hit the metal handle support); very little came out of the left. Which sort of defeats the purpose of a broadcast spreader. My old Scotts plastic spreader (RIP) worked better. Spend a little extra and upgrade to an Earthway or an Echo.

Like the widespread throw of the spreader. Helps me to complete fertilization slightly quicker. Although, there are some difficulties understanding spreader settings.
