It was easy to put together, but the instructions probably could be a bit easier to read. Seems like a common issue these days. That said, it's a solid design, and it works well. I only used it once so far, as I used it to saw through some excess wedges in my doorframe. The noise scared the puppy, but otherwise it went well. Cleanup was easy, too.

This is a versatile tool and it feels durable. The motor doesn't get slowed down while it is doing heavy work, so overall I am pleased with the purchase. The only reason I gave four stars overall instead of five is because of the blade locking mechanism. It is a bit "old school" in that it requires an allen wrench for unscrewing a retaining bolt. The wrench is included and it stores nicely in the main housing, so it is readily available when needed. Some of the competing brands have tool-less locking mechanisms, and I think that would be a great feature for Worx to incorporate into this model.

Bought to replace the one I gave to my Mother. These are excellent for someone that needs to cut stuff they would have some issues with. My Mom uses it for trimming bushes trees and Everything else she needs to take a little off the top on. Worx has become my favorite tools. ALL the Batteries are interchangable, ALL of them. I started with a old 18 volt weed eater I found forgotten in my Dad's old shop. I had just got a 20 Volt Switch Drill and the battery fit the Weed Eater and it worked. Research showed that all the batteries are interchangeable and Now I have a wide assortment of Worx tools. Proud of the all. You will be to.

This tool is an absolute necessity for any DIYer. The blades can be replaced with any universal blade which makes this a swiss army knife. I’ve used this to cut holes in drywall, cut door jambs, cut plastic boxes out of the wall, cut thin metal, sand furniture, and with the right attachment, I’m sure I could polish too! I’ve used mine heavily for 3 years now and it’s gotten wet, covered in drywall dust, and dropped on concrete multiple times but it just keeps going. The speed is adjustable but I usually just use the max speed. The blade can be attached in different angles for even further versatility. The only downsides to this tool are 1) the mechanism to attach the blade isn’t as quick as other tools, you need to use an attached wrench to loosen/tighten the blade. 2) the tool is a bit bulky. Both these things I can live with considering the price and durability.Great value. Works great. Lasted me 4yrs of heavy use.

I've had a couple of old metal patio chairs waiting to get restored and painted with plenty of rusty spots on them. When I bought this tool that was my first project to undertake. The tool was easy to maneuver and comfortable to handle. Lightweight but still had good power. The attachments are pretty easy to add/remove. You just use the wrench that hides away on top of the tool to loosen/tighten the tip for each piece.I used the finger sanding pad, which helped with the curves along the chairs, and had it set to the highest speed setting for the sanding (which the directions recommended). Long story short, it saved a lot of elbow grease from scrubbing it down by hand with sanding pads and only took a couple of passes at each rust spot to reveal the metal underneath.Overall, happy with the purchase and will see what future projects it will help me tackle.

I have been wanting to buy an oscillating tool for some time now but was just waiting for an excuse. When I moved into my new home I decided I wanted to upgrade my garage. I needed many tools but this one was the most handy. I chose the Worx for a few reasons. The first reason is because I own a few Worx products and have been completely satisfied. The second reason is the attachments this one comes with. I didn't know what I would need so I benefited from having many options. This tool seems very solid/powerful and installing the different blades was very easy. It cuts easily through dry wall, floorboards, and even helped me to chip away at cement. For a novice I found this tool very easy to use.
