I just put it together and have been sitting on it for about 30 minutes. It was easy to put together but there is a red cap you have to remove that was STUCK on there. If that happens to you, just poke a hole in the top with a nail to release the air inside. Then it slides right off.It requires a little more effort to put the stool down but goes up pretty easily. I have ADHD so I love the wobble… I’m always moving which is why I wanted a standing desk in the first place, but my knees sometimes need a break which makes this a perfect stool for me. I’ll update the review if my opinion changes but so far it’s great and everything I wanted.I’m using this on top of my walking pad at a standing desk for the times I need to rest my legs. I like that the entire bottom is rubber so I feel like it won’t damage the walking pad. I guess only time will tell. The seat cushion is comfortable and covered with a cotton/canvas type cloth. I’m not having any issues with slipping off while wearing leggings or jeans. If you have something to rest your feet on it will help you with better posture as you get used to engaging your core muscles.Hot Tip: For the short people struggling to use this at a standing desk, get something to rest your feet on for stability. It is a wobble stool so it’s not gonna be stable unless your feet touch the ground, which makes it tough to sit fully on the stool if you can’t touch the floor. I just set my feet on the back edge of my desk and it works great. For reference, I’m 5’7” but longer in the torso so for the seat to be tall enough to reach my standing desk, I’m not able to touch the ground unless I’m just perched on the edge of the stool. But if I put my feet on the crossbar of my desk for balance, I can set all the way on the stool.

This seat is great. The adjustable height allows you to sit like a chair, bar seat, or anywhere in between. Wobbling of the unit provide your spine 360 degree movement to provide pain relief and keeps you flexible. I purchased the black one and it fits my office nicely.

First impressions:(1) Appears to be well made, I don’t understand the posts about the seat being cheap or the buttons hard to find.(2) I’d like to know if it really is hard to disassemble or not. It seems like the post might just be attached with double sided tape. But it is important to turn the post until it slides all the way in so it fits correctly into the base.(3) I don’t understand the post of it falling apart when you move it. You do need to turn the post in the base to get it to fit before pushing it down. You do need to push the seat pretty firmly to attach it to the post. And you do need to ensure the tube is snapped into the seat itself.(4) This seat is special in that it can be adjusted higher than others. This matters if you are tall.(5) When you are raising the seat, best to use your chest or butt on the seat then press the button so it doesn’t fly up violently.(6) When you are lowering the seat, first sit on it then press the button and be sure the tube does not catch on the edge of the post or you may think it lowers less than it can.(7) It is impossible to sit in the chair in loose fitting running pants because you’ll slip off; you’ll figure that out on your own pretty quick.

It goes up really high and down low enough for desk level. It’s very versatile and I love that I swivels and moves so that you can just lean on it or sit on it.

The stool height is perfect for sitting or standing. Adjusts easily and forces good posture! I’m 5’8” and it can still accommodate taller people. I prefer standing at my desk but sometimes need to rest and this stool is perfect for that! Well made, sturdy and not lightweight! Very pleased.

This chair is funky and really cool I needed an in between chair not regular size not a stool and this was the answer to my conundrum ( nice word hah I get 25 points for that one ) so it has great balance and my legs don't go numb is ten minute's it also goes up and down so adjustments are great. Thanks for reading my reviews and let me lay a little wisdom on you when I was young boy my father told me to always think before you speak because people will form an opinion about you by what you say and how you say it ( words matter ) at the time I thought what does he mean and since then I realized that may have been the best advice anyone has ever given me. People have forgotten how to be kind to one another so try each day to give one kindness to someone that has lost their way I tell you it warms the heart.

I had high hopes for this and was really excited. This quickly turned into disappointment. In neither sitting nor standing stool positions could I even reach my bottom onto the seat cushion. I understand that you’re not supposed to fully sit on the stool, and rather rest your butt on the stool with your legs on the ground but I was unable to do so (I’m 5’4”). The stool looks sturdy and comfortable, but also unfortunately kept falling apart when I tried to push it into the lower position. The tube that connects to the seat detached from the seat easily, which makes it easy to fall off the stool. In addition, it takes a lot of force (unless you’re sitting on it/using your body weight) to push the seat down from its raised position. I was literally laying on top of the seat, trying to get it to lower down, and the tube and cushion kept detaching (after being pretty firmly clicked together). I’m only about 120 lbs but if “kids” is in the product description/title I would assume that it’s intended for small people too. Maybe mine was defective, because there are a ton of great reviews. I unfortunately was not so lucky.

Updated review. I took a chance and purchased a reconditioned wobble stool directly from the manufacturer (not a warehouse deal). Wrong move.28 days later the stool broke and will not stay in a lowered position, it creeps back up to full height which is way too high for me.Seller does not offer free return shipping. The stool will not disassemble and I don’t have a box big enough to hold the stool at full height.Boxing and return shipping cross country will cost nearly as much as the *reconditioned* stool.

The wobble stool is sturdy and well built. Although it is a quality product, I question it's usefulness. I purchased the stool for my tall/standing desk as I wanted to correct my posture during work hours. In it's tall configuration, the stool is not very comfortable and would be more suitable for limited use (30mins) rather than extended hours such as a work day. Comfort increases when the stool is in its low configuration but for me, that defeats the purpose of correcting my posture. I would recommend the stool for applications such as a booth or a stall or any other event where people would use it for 10-20mins at a time. Considering the hefty price and my needs, i had to return it.
