The filter works fine but the gasket is trash.You will cause yourself more time and money if you don’t buy the OEM gasket.

I ordered this item. Gasket comes rolled up in the box. Should have returned right then. Long story short I used it. It held fine for about 500 miles then leaked like a sieve. I watch my oil and transmission oil temperatures while I drive and noticed the trans temperature drop. Stopped very quickly but the damage was done. I've done mechanical work on everything from old cars to giant steam turbines. Gasket surfaces were clean and the bolts torques to the correct spec per Ford. When I removed the gasket the surfaces were still clean and shiny.Examining this gasket against the one initially removed reveals major differences in construction. It's a single flat surface on both sides while the OEM gasket has double raised surfaces on both sides to improve the sealing capability. The bolt holes are not reinforced at all whereas the OEM has metal grommets to take the and apply the torque more evenly.I do not recommend anyone consider this gasket this gasket.Let my mistake help you.
