Bought this for my 10 yr old daughter as a gift. The cast net is really nice, held up well during a week at the beach and a day at the river. Still looks new. Caught a number of fish in it. The trap has held up well, still looks new. We haven't caught anything with it yet, but we're real pleased with it and the extras that came with it, like cordage and bait holders. The extedable hand held net was a ral disappointment. The handle fell apart when we took it out of the package. We wound up using only the shortest part of the handle. The rubber part of the net will disconnect from the sides while you're trying to fish and it makes it hard to use. That said, we still managed to catch quite a few fish in it. We will be looking to replace it though, because the quality is so poor. Overall, I'd still say it was a good purchase, just know the handheld net is junk.

The cast net’s strings get cut very easily.The fish trap does not have a way to take the fish out.The net’s handle breaks easily.

Bought these for my 12 year old son, he loves all things fishing right now. Took them to a local creek and had a lot of fun trying to catch minows, caught a few. The nets are all functioning nets, not the highest quality, but not the most expensive nets either. We are able to use them again and again, but I think if we ever caught anything big it would be able to tear right through the nets. Good fun for a kid though, just don't expect to make a living catching fish with these nets, just have fun with them.
