I have a 2018 Ford Escape with a really long dashboard that is hard to reach the bottom of the windshield. I got this item and when I pulled it out my first thought was I was not impressed. It seemed way to short and I was disappointed. However I decided to use it anyway and it reached just great. It is slim enough to get to the very bottom of the windshield. I just used vinegar and water and my windshield was clean again. I was impressed as it was super easy to use and it comes with other cleaning covers.

This is a good concept, but difficult execution. For exterior surfaces, this works rather well. For interior services, such as the inside of the windshield, it will work but it's an awkward position to apply upward force. However, it does work and it reaches into the difficult-to-reach windshield bottom.The handle will extend to make the tool reach anywhere from 13-inches to almost 19-inches. Rotate the handle clockwise to lock it in place. The pad surface can be rotated between a 180-degree range.The microfiber pad fits well to the head. However, the 2 extra pads I received were too small to fit. Also, the head is not very thin. It doesn't take much force to crack it.

I ordered this hoping to be able to clean my car windows better. Honestly, I’m disappointed. All it did was smear the window cleaner and left a film. Paper towels and glass cleaner work better. Save your money

I have three cars and one has a very slanted roofline which makes cleaning the inside of the window difficult to reach. The Windshield Window Cleaner Tool makes cleaning my car's windshield much easier. It is especially useful to reach the bottom of the glass where it intersects the dash.The Windshield Window Cleaner Tool kit comes with an extra pad (which I have not used yet) and a small capacity spray washer bottle. I use my own special purpose spray from the original bottle but can see the usefulness if using a concentrated solution which can be diluted in the small spray bottle.The tool has an extension in the handle which is very useful. I wish it extended a little longer for reaching across the long dash.I have not washed the pad but will do so soon in cold water and let it air dry or tumble dry in dryer. The pad does clean the dirt on the windshield - I spray windshield with cleaner first using care not to get the spray on the leather dash.This is a very useful tool which I did not know existed - but so very happy I have the Windshield Window Cleaner Tool to clean my auto windshields. It solves a problem and makes my cleaning the windshield much easier.

I ordered this because there are places on my windshield that have probably never been cleaned properly, especially on the inside at the bottom, because the dashboard is so long, and the angle between it and the window is so small. This tool effectively reaches that area. It’s shorter than I expected, which is actually a good thing. If it was too long, I’d have a different set of troubles getting that particular hard to reach spot on my windshield. This also helps me reach the middle of the outside of the windshield.I do want to mention that it has to be twisted to lock in when it’s extended. It took me a few tries to figure this out.It’s well made enough for my purposes of cleaning the windshield, but I don’t think it’d hold up with super heavy pressure/scrubbing.
