By using our wheel clearance tool, you can immediately confirm your wheel specifications, including clearance and offset, to order new or customized wheels. Simply install the wheel accessory calculator tool extension into the planned running tire and secure the sidewall clamps. Fix the wheel hub mounting plate to the extension with bolts to install the tire, and use our wheel offset measurement tool for measurement! It's just that simple!
Everything you need is included in the wheel mounting kit for measuring 14 to 20 inch wheel diameters (7 to 17 inches wide)! Just provide the size of the front and rear tires you will be using, assemble and install tools, and secure the tires to the axle flange or front wheel hub. Once secured with at least two wheel lug nuts or lug bolts, you can check the gap between the frame and suspension by cycling the suspension up and down using a jack (loosening bolts or removing shock absorbers/take-up devices may be easier). Turning the front wheel from one lock to another will confirm that the change in steering angle will not cause interference between the tire and the frame/steel plate. Easily loosen the wing nut and adjust the tool's backward movement to obtain the best tire clearance, then lock the adjustment. Remove the wheel setback tool and measure the final setback requirement for your ordered new or customized wheels.
