Just returned from 2200 mile motorcycle ride. The unit worked great, once set up it was pretty simple to pick up with the map as soon as I got back on the bike. The only downside I see is its programming is a bit clunky and confusing. I upgraded my old sumo 550 to the xt. Good value, appearance, con would be setup

I use this product on my Goldwing motorcycle. Had been using the Zumo 396 but could not get any volume in my Bluetooth headset.I now use it with my same Sena SR50s headset, my IPhone and my Sena Freewire connected to my motorcycle. I was only able to use it for a little while but so far, so great.I am only disappointed in that they seemed to take away the vehicle app. It was a great place to record the mileage for which maintenance items were performed.

This one’s the second one I ordered first one was had quirky software. So far no quirks working just fine. AC charger sent with the package .5 amps not big enough the 2 A or better. Other than that, I like the product.

Comes with everything needed to mount it on your bike. Simple and intuitive to use. Loaded and ran a BDRX with this GPS.The phone lost signal in the woods but the Garmin ran 100% of the time

Overall I really am disappointed in this device and in Garmin in general. My Mac will not recognize the device when plugged in(using Basecamp), and there is zero documentation or support for solving. Garmin also doesn't appear to have chat or phone support so people are guessing in random forums for help. The Map display is low quality. I could get over the low quality map if they also worked better. I once had the maps try to send me to take a ferry adding several hours to my route when there was a perfectly fine route without a ferry.

Small and light weight with a large screen.Installed and wired up external power to the VRod. Verified the pin out prior to connections and then again once connections were completed. For reference the top pin is positive.supply voltage, +13.8v.Good display in bright sunlight. Still getting use to the device. Routing is slightly different which makes it a little tough at times. Links to my phone and has computer routing. The SD card is easy to download routes and read in XT2.Overall a good device. I would buy it again.

This is not my first rodeo with Garmin Products. Used to have a Zumo 665 which I loved and really should never have sold. A friend of mine purchased an XT right before the XT2 came out. What a difference between these two devices. They operate off of different software programs and phone apps.Even though I have an in-dash Garmin Navigation unit on my 2017 Honda Goldwing, I've been asked why I made this purchase. It's quite simple, the device that is on my unit is a great device but it has limited functionality while I am on the move. The XT2 has changed all that. I have communication with other riders, Phone connectivity and on the fly functionality at my fingertip. There is a slight learning curve and to be quite honest, there's a lot to learn with this XT2.I highly recommend it to those of you that do cross country riding and just don't wanna go from point A to point B.
