This was needed as a puncture & leak proof container for transferring non-steril dental hygiene items. We added biohazard stickers and it's holding up to the medical grade cleaners so far! Scaler pictured for size.

I picked this up for camping and fishing as a safe storage for my phone, wallet, and keys. It works perfectly! It has a nice tight seal around the lid, though not so tight that you can't close it. I've tested the seal in the kitchen sink and had no leaks after keeping it pushed down in 10" of water for 30 minutes. That's plenty of testing for me. I'm not going scuba diving with it or anything. It's quite buoyant, so it will float even loaded with my things. Great item!

This dry box has a metal axle hinge in the cover and in both snaps so it will clamp tight shut without easy breakage. The color is bright to keep track of if it does fall out of your kayak and the top is clear to see what's inside. The seal is a silicone ring and the fit and finish doesn't allow any water seepage in normal use. Obviously it isn't designed to be pressure resistant deep subsurface and I wouldn't take your phone SCUBA diving in it. The box is generously sized and will fit a fair amount of gear - you could fold and stuff a t-shirt into it if need be. It will have no problem holding tissues, a wallet, a phone, keys and glasses all together if you want to. There is a wrist loop packages with it for you to attach if you want to and there are molded lock loops for a small lock, carabiner or zip ties, etc. Too big for a pocket but perfect for a day trip essential dry storage in a canoe, kayak, or backpack.

Box is a good size for my phone, wallet and keys. I tested them before using and my test paper remained dry during the testing. Gifts in my kayak nicely. I would buy this brand again.

I'm a surf/wade fisherman, and I get far from my departure point walking through water. Lately I have been fishing alone and I started carrying my iPhone in my breast pocket inside a zip lock bag. Chasing the fish, I am sometimes in armpit deep water, and I can only hope that the Zip lock bag stays sealed. I saw this storage box and got it just for that. On a recent outing I tried it out; keeping my wallet, car keys, copy of my fishing license and the iPhone inside the Zip lock bag (making double sure). The box floated inside my catch bag, and everything stayed dry. It has a rubber gasket that seals tightly, keeping the water out. I could probably stop using the Zip lock, but I won't. You never know what is going to happen. It is definitely a big improvement over my breast pocket.

This is a decent dry box. It is a bit larger than I was expecting. I gave it to my husband to put his phone and keys in when he goes steelhead fishing, which can be a very cold and wet pursuit. The bright color is really helpful because it stands out well on the rocky river bank. The closure seems nice and tight and I am not worried about it inadvertently popping open.

My wife and I went on a 2-week vacation that involved a lot of water activities. We wanted something that we could store our things and take items with us and not have to worry about it getting wet. We did not want to leave our items on the beach to possibly be stolen.This waterproof box hit the spot of what we needed on our vacation. We were able to fit 2 large cellphones and car keys into the box and take it with us into the water. I am more of a swimmer and my wife is more of a floater, so my wife tied the box on her hand and kept the items close to her while we snorkeled in the water at least 7x for hour stints. I think our only issue with the box is that we needed it a little bigger. Since we put our two phones in, it did not give us much room for anything else but keys. It is a shallow box with what I believe is good construction. Overall, If we did not have this box, we would probably order it again and would purchase a bigger box if they had one.

Great basic little dry box for boating, camping, or the beach. Single silicone O-ring (not double). I’m uncertain how long the O-ring seal will last but because this case isn’t intended to take to any depth, it isn’t as critical compared to underwater camera housing O-rings.Piano hinges are secured with robust wires. Latches securely shut with a satisfying snap and do not inadvertently pop open. Limited home testing gave no indication of leaking. The case itself is fairly robust plastic. I like both the vivid high-visibility fluorescent orange as well as the clear top for identifying contents. The included lanyard is long enough to clip to an attachment point yet not so lengthy it gets in the way.This handy floating dry box will be great to keep my phone and other small items protected while kayaking and when on the dive boat.
