I just finished installing this beast of a unit. Make no mistake, this is a beast of a unit. I don't think I ever grasped how big the base unit was or how tall the dispenser was. The base unit takes up the entire left side underneath my sink.. probably 25% of the space under there. Maybe more since the pipes and lines intrude on so much.I was installing this in place of an old insinkerator filtration system. The hole was a tad bigger than I think this waterdrop unit wanted so screwing in the nut to hold the dispenser in place wasn't quite as easy as I had a hard time getting it as tight as I thought it needed to be. The hole was a little big and there was not a larger spacer/washer to allow for that. Really the only thing I thought they should have had in the system that wasn't there.After suffering through uninstalling the old unit, installing this waterdrop ro system was really quite easy. I thought the hardest part was drilling the drain hole and then shoving the tube in there. That was hard as the 1/4" hole was too small for the tube and I had to enlarge the hole a little at a time until I could shove the drain tube in. After that, it was really easy. Everything is clearly marked and the tubes go into quick connectors very easily. I did have to read through the setup guide after the install to find out that the system wants to flush for 15 minutes after install to get everything through and before any heating can occur. That's fine. I just didn't know this until I read it. The 60 second flush is normal for any filter so that was expected.So far the unit is pretty awesome. After overcoming the shock of how big it was and getting it finally installed, I think my family will very much enjoy using this. There is no taste to the water and the instant hot water feature is so nice. We had that with the insinkerator until a 3rd tank broke. I wasn't about to get another tank. Hated having to deal with those.It's very early but it seems like this will be everything I expected and maybe even better than I expected. I had mentioned the dispenser Sat pretty high... It sits around 10 inches high off the counter. That's fine. I just wasn't expecting it. Hard to gauge in pictures. But the touch controls and the overall function is really easy and nice. The water coming out seems really fresh. I had some cold and it truly came out cold and it was very refreshing.

simple and easy, the water is nice and hot, the filter does it's job. one improvement I would try and make is to have the hot water line not be plastic 'cause even if it's a special plastic, it just isn't very comforting knowing that the hot water is running through it before it gets to me. otherwise, it's really neat and all houses should be equiped with something like this instead of depending on like your fridge water dispenser or something

I've had the Waterdrop system for 1 year and have been extremely pleased with its quality, performance and reliability. In my previous home I had an undercounter RO system (with 5 gallon storage tanks and several replaceable filters) and a seperate instant hot water heater. I had also connected the filtered water supply to my refrigerator. The 2 systems consumed quite a bit of my under counter space. Thought I would simply put the same system in my new home. New home was built on a slab so running a connection to the refrigerator was not going to be likely. Did some research and found this Waterdrop system. Purchased the unit and installed it myself. Easy installation but need to make sure you have enough clearance height in the cabinet beneath the sink. Also took my time drilling hole through granite countertop.System has worked well since installation. Love the electronic spout with the water quality and temperature readings. I did have one brief issue with the electronic spout controls, but it was quickly corrected when I realized that my hot water dispenser temp setting was too high.Customer support has been great. Single filter replacement looks like it will be much more convenient than my previous RO system with multiple filters and lots of tubing connections.Bought the system on sale pricing and am extremely pleased with the value. Have also purchased Waterdrop brand refrigerator replacements and been very pleased.

We have a lot of chlorine in our water and the water quality changes throughout the year. This RO filter eliminates the issues 100% and we added in the re-mineralization cartridge to give us back the trace minerals we want.The hot water functions perfectly and we have eliminated the kettle from our kitchen counter. Nice! ๐We have been using it for about a month so far and have had zero issues.Installing it was simple but it is a bit big so make sure you have space available under your sink. Measure first.Overall I would recommend this product

Such a great solution. It is really as described. Good water flow, instant hot water. Regarding the noise it is not that much and you can hear the sound for seconds.The only disadvantage is if you want to change the temperature for the hot water you need to wait until the system adjust, it will take couple of minutes.

The stream is slow but there is no worrying about a tank running out of filtered water or losing pressure because it is tank less which I love! The system lets you know when the filter needs to be replaced. My other system did not. The filter replacement I believe was about $90. The water tastes good and the installation was not real horrible. So far so good. UPDATE: Time to change the filter. It was so easy. Turned off the water, drained and slid the new one in. Took about 4 minutes tops. Wonderful product. Clean drinking water for another year. Ordered new filer now $101. I believe great for a whole year of clean water. Sure better than buying cases of water and having to haul it. Love this product.
